I use this mainly for cooking, when I have numerous things going, sometimes something in the smoker or on the grill, maybe something else roasting, and one or two things going low and slow on the stove. I used to coach high school sports, and I could see it being really useful when you have multiple groups doing different activities, with one station broken up into several short drills, while another spot is a single, longer drill. I love that you can change the labels, and the colors and layout are great.
There are two things I would change:
1-for some reason, the alarm occasionally does not make a sound. I haven’t figured out why. That needs to be fixed. I usually keep it nearby, so I can see the time, but I have forgotten and not known how far past the set time I went.
2-keep the labels until they are manually cleared! This is actually a big deal. I often set a timer early to check something on the grill or that I’m baking, and I need to give it another few minutes. Same for activities on the field. If we try a new drill, I may give it 5-10 minutes. If it’s going well, then I’ll give it 5 more minutes before moving to the next drill or whatever. I have to re-type the label. Every time. And I do this probably do this half the time I use the timer.
