I love it
I have been smoking for 30 years and have now not smoked for 30 days. I don’t think the app is the magic bullet that made it happen but it has certainly helped. There is a lot of positive support but the negative reminders are most effective. The daily pictures can scare the hell out of you. I don’t want to be the content of a “picture of the day” because I smoked myself to an early death! Don’t let your brain fool you into cheating the system while you are cutting back. That has always been my failing point, especially when I get down to just a few butts a day. This tim I just said to hell with it and quit altogether a few days before my planned quit date. Good luck everyone, I hope we can all beat this!!! 😀

I use it less frequently now but looked at it very very very frequently in the early minutes, hours, days and weeks of quitting. Super useful reminder. My big suggestion would be to separate short and long term indicators. For example nicotine is out of system quickly so the graph goes green but lung condition will stay red for a long time. Be nice to have some interim measures. E.g. Breathing capacity or stamina something other than all green and most red. Also, commas would be useful as you hit thousands of cigarettes not smoked and dollars saved.

This app, is the reason I stayed quit
I was a smoker for 20+ years. I’ve “quit” on numerous occasions, but this app is what has helped me QUIT for good. Just opening the app and seeing the active counter of how many cigarettes I haven’t smoked and the counter of days down to the hour that I’ve been a nonsmoker; is a huge motivation and nudges you to stay quit even if will power is slipping. Waiting for all of the meters to “go green” is also a big motivator to stay quit. The “daily pic”, although repeated, is another nice addition. Thanks MLC. You’ve helped me as well as my family.

Best App!
I Quit Smoking App is very interesting & fun to use. It tracks everything for you. Just enter a few details & you’re all set. This is my 2nd go around. I quit for 2 months then my beloved dog died. I was so depressed/stressed out. When I smoked the 2nd time, I hated it even more as I knew what it felt like to quit. This App would pop in my head! Now I’m smoke free again & I pray I stay quit. Thank you for creating an awesome App for us ex smokers. PS Now I don’t stink anymore!!

time Not accurate. What else?
It has been around 15 or so minutes when I started to quit. I notice it keeps track of the time I quit in; years, days, hours minutes and seconds, It takes 10 seconds for the seconds to change to the next second. So according to this after 60 minutes of quitting this will show I quit for only six minutes. After 12 hours it will show I quit for only 1 hour 12 seconds... for every 24 hour day it will show I quit for only 2 hours and 24 seconds. I just checked my time. Way off ... Time for a cigarette while I sort this out.
Oh, well. So much for incentive.

When I quit originally, it was because I had a bad flu. By the time I was healthy (about a week later) I'd found this app. My ultra competitive nature was spurred on by this app so much! Every time I felt like I was going to slip, I'd check the stats and it helped so much! As of today, I'm 214 days cigarette free after over 12 years of being a daily smoker! I'd suggest this app to anyone looking for that last push!
