It's always a good idea to backup your data with the DropBox Backup feature before updating. You can find it in the Utility tab.

Color Flags: Tracking more than one chronic condition? My latest survey says that most of you are. Now you can categorize your entries with “Color Flags”. Stick a blue Color Flag on your headache entries, and a purple Color Flag on your Fibromyalgia entries. Then filter your calendar, graph, and reports based on these Color Flags. No longer is your rheumatologist looking at your depression entries.

Private Entries: Any entry can be set to ‘Private’. This means the entry won’t ever show up on a Doctor’s Report.

Editable Pain Scale Descriptions: The default pain scale is now editable. Consult with your doctor and set it up to suit your needs!

Atmospheric Pressure in Inches: Entries will now have atmospheric pressure in inches as well as millibars.

Improved Image Handling: You can now preview and print images attached to your entries.

Formerly 'Flagged' entries are now 'Starred'.

Performance improvements and design enhancements abound.

Enjoy!

GRAPHS!

You can now compare your pain levels across metrics and against weather data. Plot up to three metric values and any one weather metric at a time.

The graph was designed to be useful in finding and identifying patterns and triggers. My very first test graph, during development, brought to light a correlation between my pain and relative humidity changes. It’s actually really fun to explore the graph and see what you can find. Check it out!

MHCounselor,
Great App to have
Love this app. As someone who is challenged with fibromyalgia and CFS, this really helps me keep track of what impacts or possibly triggers flare ups. I would love to see a body map similar to the head map where I could properly document my pain and tender areas. Rheumatologist always want you to identify where the pain is as well as describe the type of pain.

I would love to be able to better point out the areas and the the type of symptoms associated with the area to have a report that I can easily provide to my doctor.

If it had these capabilities I would gladly give it 5 stars and pay for an upgraded version.
SouthSide Lee,
Great chronic pain app.
This is an excellent app for anyone with chronic pain who is trying to understand or control it. It prints an excellent Pdf file to print and hand in to your pain Doctor. It's a great app. If I were to suggest any improvements, I would improve upon making the different color flags that represent different types of pain, (head, neck, back, etc) I would make those a tad easier to use. Maybe it's me, that's a possibility. But I seem to do fine with the rest of the app. I just know that most people who have severe pain and can't work, at some point some depression starts to creep in. Whether you take any thing for that is your choice, but I would like to see the app make it easier to track them simultaneously. I know you can, but to me it's a little difficult, and takes away from the root of the problem when looked at the graph. Sorry, point being; I would just like to see it separate, yet viewed next to the root problem on the weekly and monthly graphs. I feel if it were easier people would be able to control the depression aspect easier. Pain is hard to control, but with the right tools you can track how the pain affects your mood.
Thank you for reading my Novel, sorry bout that!!
Tbuck501,
So Useful, And With The Weather!
I've used this for months, and I love it! The auto timestamp and weather log are so important to me, because they help me track changes in my chronic migraine pain, and I know they will help my doctors and me to see correlations with humidity, barometric pressure, or even just the sun.
The only downside I've found so far is with the Colored Flag system. You can flag each entry by color, so that you can tell the difference between your various chronic conditions' entries in the history at a glance. However, if you make a mistake and flag an entry with the wrong color, when you go back and edit that entry (which is entirely possible and very helpful), you cannot change the Color Flag. (Update from my original rating, you can delete the entry and begin again with the correct flag.)
Other than that, with all of the reports and graphs it can create, this app has become the most important tool on my phone.
dhstud,
Good start, could use some improvements
Overall, I think this is a good app, but there are a few things that would make it much more useful for tracking pain. First, it would be nice if you could zoom in on the graph and inputs over the course of a day, such as hour by hour pain scores. I would also like to see the ability to set custom scales (such as anxiety) that can be overlaid onto the same graph as the pain scale. That way it would easy to see how pain changes in relation to another metric that has variable level inputs.
Hiho2go,
Excellent app!
I've been so happy with this app, from being able to customizing the pain level descriptions, the types and locations of pain, what treatments I've tried, etc. occasionally there is trouble accessing the weather info, but it seems to be a phone-wide issue for me, and not app specific. I was also able to get a quick response to some questions on the app's Facebook page. I would definitely recommend this app to anyone who needs to track pain.
pRpLmOn73,
Love this app!
I needed an app where I could keep track of my migraine headaches. User friendly. Entries automatically dated. Great edit feature. Easily add photos. Switch to monthly calendar view and see frequency and patterns of your symptoms. Easy to customize categories and descriptions of symptoms most often used. Keep track of multiple ailments on this one app! Dependable and reliable. Absolutely no freezing, glitches, or limitations. Great tool when discussing symptoms with my doctor. You must get it!
BrigittePainter,
So Far so Good!!😊😄😀
I down loaded this app because I've had 3 spine surgeries since 2013 & a Spinal Cord Stimulator put in for pain & I got this app to track the pain because the last time I went to my doctor I saw a PA & she tried to make it that I was faking! I even found out I have 50% bone loss & my bones are like a 70yr old & im not even 45 yet! And I also have Arthritis to go along w/everything else! So I want my Doctor see All these & this App helps me & lets me write everything down & saves it for me!! So Yes I like it!!!😊💞😊
debusque,
First pain app I've ever liked
Read a review about this pain app and thought I would give it a try. I just have at least 5 different pain trackers on my phone that I don't use. I have 2 different chronic pain conditions that really need to be tracked for better management but none of my old ones were very good. I actually LOVE this app. It allows you to individualize it for your specific condition and take down a lot of critical information. I highly recommend this.
Aloha Carol,
Excellent Pain tracker
I wanted to start a journal that could track my fibromyalgia pain and also be able to write notes about things. This app does that and more. I'm very impressed with the app and glad I'm using it. I would recommend it to anyone who is trying to figure out what's going on because we sure tend to forget how bad the pain was, what a good day we've had, and these things are really good to know especially when trying medications.
Nickimouse718,
Very disappointed in a great app
Disappointed in the fact that there are 2 apps by the same developer both cost $4.99 and the newer one is the gold edition of the first but no where does it say that and foes it give you an option to update without paying again. The day i bought i could have bought the gold from beginning but did not know. Contacted developer but no one got back to me. Very disappointing since i suffer from a incurable disability where my muscles in my body spasm and i have no control over them. My condition is called cervical dystonia. Just dont have money to keep throwing away on apps to find out thst i should have bought the newer version. Really sad
