Easy to use
Having an HSA credit card is by far easier than having an FSA where it seems I consistently have to upload receipts. This app however makes it pretty easy to do so and the reimbursement happens pretty quickly (few days max)

This is a poorly written app.
This app crashes on my phone every few minutes. There is no option to upload a receipt unless it is a photo or you use your camera…some of us store the receipts that are emailed to us and need to upload them. It just seems that some basic items are missing from this app. It means that I have to go to a computer and upload a file because it isn’t in the mobile app even though just about every person has some kind of cloud storage.

Reimbursement WAS Easy
I have been using this for over four years. I always submitted my monthly email receipts but in Spring 2020 they no longer accept my receipts and I have had to personally contact the director at my daycare, waste their time over some minor details. Not a fan of this company and changes they made as it takes more time out of my day and the director at my childcare center. Disappointed.

Very easy to use app. Walk you through the claim step by step. Allow to take a picture of receipt instead of scanning receipts through a scanner.

This is one of the better apps for submitting claims and reviewing your account. The only thing I would change is the ability to upload a receipt from a Google Drive or other file system.

I have to use it but would prefer something else
Really annoying trying to use smartscan . Documents scan ok but how do I submit the expense . It is really unclear what ‘mark as paid’ means. Can I submit expense using smartscan? When they are unpaid the expenses come up in actions list but there is no indication of what action to take !

I haven’t used the app in a few months but since the new fiscal year started on July 1st I have been logging in only to find that it keeps crashing. Also the logo is filling up most of the screen after logging in. There is clearly a bug that needs fixed.

If you misspell a word you have to retype everything. It won’t let you just move cursor and fix it. That’s annoying.

And if you time out of your session, it doesn’t tell you that until you’ve filled in all the information, uploaded the document, and hit submit. That’s not only annoying, it’s stupid.
