The My Safetipin app is your personal tool to make your city safer and to hold your local authorities accountable for creating a safe environment! Through the safety audit, you can share your inputs and feeling of safety in a place by simply rating 9 parameters and adding pictures as well as comments. However, we have an even easier way for you to do this, with our newest feature called ‘Quick Audit’. All you have to do is take a picture and add your feeling in the place and leave the rest to our machine learning system which will calculate the parameter ratings for you! If you agree with the ratings, confirm the audit.

Openness – Ability to see and move in all directions
Visibility – Vendors, shops, building entrances, windows and balconies from where you can be seen

Public Transport – Availability of public transport like metro, buses, autos, rickshaws
Gender Usage – Presence of women and children near you
Feeling – How safe do you feel

In the My Safetipin app, your contribution towards safer cities is not in vain! For every audit you do and for every time you share the app with someone, you will get points and these points get translated into badges. When you join the app, you are a Safeti-Starter and through different actions that you take, you progress through 9 more levels (and subsequent badges), to finally become a Safeti-Winner.

Tracking. You can invite your friends, family and loved ones to track you if you feel unsafe while traveling. Though it sounds like any other tracking app, there is one very important differentiator. With the My Safetipin tracking feature, the control of tracking lies with YOU. Nobody can track you without your consent and nobody can send a request to track you. Only when you are feeling unsafe and send a request to be tracked can it happen.
Safest Route. The quickest route isn’t always the safest route, especially for women and other excluded groups. Use this feature on the My Safetipin app, to find the safest route from place A to B based on the Safetipin data.
Find Support. Violence against women is a big deterrent to women’s everyday lives and though there are many places for help, they are not always easy to find. Well, look no further, because the My Safetipin app has a list of resources including police stations with women desks, one stop centres, NGOs, shelters and more across India.
