The APP of Dolomiti Superski is supposed to be a real online ski guide for those who want to discover the world’s largest ski carousel and is supported by all the operating systems of the most common smart phones.
It has new graphics and a modern navigation: horizontal movements (swipe) allow users to switch from one of the 12 ski areas of Dolomiti Superski to the next in numerical order, while vertical movements (scroll) lead to various menu options, functions and services within the chosen ski area.
If the GPS function of the device is activated, when the APP is launched, the system will lead to a content page for the Dolomiti Superski ski area in which the user is located.
One can login through the "MyDolomiti" community, after having registered (free of charge) to use the services. The APP offers useful information such as the open/closed status of individual lifts and slopes in real time, opening hours of the lifts, breaks, weather forecasts, points of interest such as ski schools, ski rentals, info points, Pick-up Box, as well as descriptions and contacts.
The user will also find other interesting and popular functions, such as the Performance Check, Tracking option to record the route taken while skiing, Routing which will navigate you to a predetermined point on the slopes.
By reaching certain goals with the "Tracking" function, the user will be assigned interesting Badges - a great way to challenge yourself! And finally, you get to play too since the registered members of the APP-community can also have fun with the APP's game functions, creating their network of friends, who must also be registered members and in possession of a Dolomiti Superski ski pass and challenging each other throughout the ski season.

Nice concept but buggy
The app is nice in theory but unfortunately it worked better last year for tracking your day. There are two tracking systems - one that uses solely the lifts used, which worked perfectly for us, and an optional tracker you can turn on to record your day via GPS. This second one failed miserably, with every day showing a random mid-day stream of lifts and slopes and then repeating that list (e.g., lift A, slope B, lift C, lift A, slope B, lift C). This thus missed most of the day, did not accurately provide either mileage or a map and could not accurately track badges earned, number of slopes/lifts, etc. Happily the iPhone recorder that we also had running did work and gave us accurate maps of our day, but it cannot calculate miles skiied vs. lifted or the other resort-specific information that can be provided by the app if it were to work. So a 4 star concept (and 4 stars last year) but only 2 stars now as its main function does not work.

Great try but with bugs
I used this app with my family for 4 days. Basically great to exist, map is ok to look at it and search function could be included accross all ski regions. You need to search each region separately to find the slope or Skilift friends are recommending.
Even with the tracking whole day on, phone battery is not drained which is great. On other side some slopes and ski-pass data are not recorded ?! App shows that skied for 18km and shows only 3 slopes which is wrong. Then of course you are not getting badges..
All in all, nice try but bugs should be cleaned.
And I would love to connect with friends and be able to make a common break.
Hope you get it better till the next season.

Loading and loading and loading
The app tries to load something every time you decide to look at the map. It is VERY inconvenient when you’re stuck somewhere without network coverage and trying to figure out your location.

I could not figure out when I downloaded the app how to read the map in English. I’m not sure what language it is it but it’s not English and I don’t know if the map is based out side of the usa and the map just is labeled for that location but I would like some advice on this issue.

Could Not Register
Could not register. Error message type so small I have no idea what the problem was.

Unable to register, and no way to show slope maps without logging in

Privacy nightmare
Requires tons of personal data even to see a map. Lots of useless other functions. If you give up and try to use the web, Viewing the website is also crippled on mobile to force this junk app. All around an impressively bad series of decisions to arrive at this.

It was 20 years ago, but on the same level as Helli asking in the Percell Range in B.C. Canada.
A lot less expensive as Boogabooes at $10,000 plus.
A true snow skier must ski the other resorts that come in second...

unusable unless you fill out lengthy login form
why should i need to log in to get information about a ski resort? the app doesn’t let me do anything without an account. no you don’t need my email address, country of origin and date of birth to show me a slope map.
