"MyKidsSpending | MySpending" is the iOS app for MyKidsSpending.com and MySpending.info.
The MKS app makes it easy to add funds to your MKS|MSI accounts, either by depositing funds from a U.S. bank account or by paying with Apple Pay (all from within the app).
The app allows you to conveniently check your school spending account balance and gives you information on the last deposit received. Find out before you get into the checkout line whether money has been put into your account.
Use the in-app QR code to buy items at your cafeteria or bookstore.
Once your school has the ordering feature enabled, you can use the app to order meals, sign up for activities, and more all from your within the app.

App crashes
I am sad to say that this is the only way I am able to fund my children’s lunch accounts. This app is absolutely horrible. It crashes nonstop and I am only able to get money to my kids through this. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times this go around and still am having no luck accessing our account. When I go to the website the website is just as bad. I try to fund the accounts and when I click on that button it does not advance me to the next screen. I’ve tried opening the website in Chrome and in Safari and neither one works. You really need to fix this if you are going to be the provider of choice for many schools.

Please fix or find another way to fund my child’s lunch account
If this is the best you can do in 2021 you should be ashamed of yourself. Website will not advance beyond home page and app will not even open. There is no way to fund my child’s account therefore he cannot eat lunch at school. Terrible option for students and parents! Shame on you for allowing this type of lapse where this is the only form of monetary transaction allowed for food purchase for a child.

Seldom works as expected
This is the only way our school offers to pay for lunch for our child. Sometimes it is impossible to add funds and other times we are charged for things my child did not purchase. I have not found a way yet to correct this or even speak to someone at this company. Just a horrible app.

More instructions needed
I downloaded this app because my child's school is using this program. I don't see anywhere how the child locks in? Do they use the parents login information? Come on guys and gals let's get some more complete information. I feel like you're wasting my time and I have no time to waste.

Needs option to fund multiple accounts
Looks like you can only fund 1 account at a time if you have more than 1 child. On line you can fund all the accounts with one transaction. I don’t want to be charged a separate convenience fee for each check transaction. For me, this app would only be useful to check balances.

Works well, but ...
If you have a new iPhone with Face ID and you have allowed Touch ID, the app will open and immediately close. To fix, I had to delete the app and reinstall. App needs an update for Face ID.

App works great, however, I have not been able to open it since upgrading to an iPhone XS Max. App crashes on open. When will it be updated?

The developers of the app must have been blind when maki BG this app first let’s start with the log in the font is white and the background is white so you cannot see what you are typing. And let’s not get over the fact that the app looks like it was made by a five year old.

Not worth the download
I’m trying to add money to my kids account and the only option is to pay via Apple Pay. No option to use the card I used previously when paying online. No other directions or instructions or a help area. So this app will be deleted in 10 secs.

It isn’t user friendly
It is complicated and often doesn’t work properly. It is almost impossible to use. Very undependable
