myMCPS Mobile Hack 5.2.102 + Redeem Codes

This app was never very good, and it is not maintained frequently enough for it to be functional.
It is difficult to get to my grades; the app makes me log in every time I use it, and the interface is cluttered with unnecessary resources. I have downloaded myMCPS+, which is a far better app, but I am still frustrated that this app does not work. It won’t even let me log in anymore, on the rare occasion that it actually loads the login screen.
The other review is condescending and somewhat judgmental, so let me say this: I am a student, not a parent. I am no tech wizard, but I am far from technologically incompetent. I am not complaining because I thought Edline was better or because I don’t feel like learning a new layout. I am complaining because this app is bad and does not work.

In terms of simplicity, Edline was so much better. As a middle school student, when I was first introduced to edline, it instantaneously fell into place. I used the third party Edline Helper app as my primary grade checker on my phone and iPad. Now, myMcps, isn't so easy to get used to. First off, when I want to check my grades, am instantly reminded of my gross yearbook picture I took that looked horrible. As a typical female, aesthetics are very important to me. But my Vaseline face is just so darn distracting. But the app in general is okay, but edline helper was straight to the point. But on so many other aspects, this app was much better than Edline's. first off, I love how in one app, I can get access to a wide variety of things, from the weekly school newsletter, to the lunch schedule. Also, I can access google classroom, which is always great for those select classes that the teacher loves the Google ecosystem. For others, it may seem distracting, but I am quite fond of it. Moving a little away from the app, I have to say, the URL for mymcps for grade checking is kind of hard to memorize. I now have to keep it as a bookmark. For edline, the URL was pretty easy to type.

I actually believe that this a better app than the one for Edline. Of course we don't get Edline nor Edline helper anymore but just because we don't doesn't mean that there isn't a future possibility that there could be an option for that on this same app. Keep up the good work. Anyways, there are ways to find out your potential grades just gotta do the work on paper than having a computer do it for you, so it isn't IMPOSSIBLE to find out. One just gotta do more work in order to. Also, this app helps one stay WAY more connected to their schools. & let's admit it, it is way better than Edline. Not everyone nor parents could speak English & that's okay but it's very tough when you don't because you can not connect with the schools or county. With this app, the languages will help many way more.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Last year as my first year at MCPS coming from DC and I was looking for an app to help me keep up with the schools as well as my daughter’s progress. I must say I should have read the reviews first. This app is terrible. Signing up was easy but I haven’t and still can’t see my daughters progress, it just shows her grade and teacher, I know that information already. I don’t get any notifications at all I have to physically open the app only to see all my notifications. I tried updating my contact info but the app just closes out and then when open the app again there’s a notifications saying the school has to change my contact info🙄 This is just ridiculous all around. If there is a better app than this one I will gladly download it ASAP

What was ever wrong with edline in the first place? Edline was a simple app just to check our grades and what we missed, no one cares about photos and updates are this dumb education system, thats what teachers and principals are here for to tell us this stuff and do their job. Stop making us download new apps every year just to check our grades or go to google classroom, this is way too much especially with myMCPS. PLUS, it's not like you ever listen to us, the students and our suggestions in the first place. Plus canvas and myMCPS take up so much storage on my phone, really? Was all this necessary in the first place?

iPhone app lets parents see progress for more than one kid, individual classes, grades, and assignments. Has link to news, Google Classroom, calendar, many other things that look useful.

EdLine app didn’t really work times we tried it.

Teachers said it is taking some getting used to for them. But looks like a decent helper for kids, teachers, and parents.

My review might be a surprise and disappointment to a developers and content managers. But this app is terrible. For me - the parent - it is unusable. It is 2019, and 2 hours after I have started and I still have no account... still cannot access my children accounts... still stack. Application is changing on me... things disappear... Maybe I need to take a day off to set everything up, but then who will pay taxes that support this app? MCPS need to get a new contractor who knows how to create software that works. MCPS officials need to get their act together and find competent manager to lead this project.

This is nothing compared to edline. It's confusing for the teachers and students alike! I mean seriously they didn't even teach the teachers how to use it! We're all lost and now stuck with mcps cheap ripoff of edline that barely works. I'm just so sick of mcps thinking there helping us by giving crappy modifications to a already broken system, or even worst a working one. This short cut payed the same price as many: you have to live with the suckyness. So if the creater of edline helper is reading this, please, please, make an myMCPS helper. To at least make this bad situation alittle better. Thank you

I honestly don't understand why everyone is hating on this app. It connects everything in one place and makes it easy once you get the hang of it. I mean, edline probably took longer to understand, it's just people got used to it. Nothing against people who liked edline, but this app is a lot more convenient I think.

It's a good app, but Edline was simpler and faster. Still, this app is great and smooth, and has more access to other things.

Edit: after using this app, I've decided it deserves a 5 star. Idk why people give it a 1 star just because it feels more complicated. MyMCPS has so many great features, and doesn't deserve a 1 and a half star rating. It's awesome
