earthwokker,
essential app for musicians
I need to use this more often! It is so easy to pick up and study a few minutes a day, or get carried away for hours! I use this offline and just love the simple setup! There is a lot of content packed into this app
zionpaul,
Easy and All I needed !
I’ve been without theory for awhile and I just needed something to refresh my memory without trying to charge me 😂 this is highly recommended for practice and learning 🙌🏾
MysTrysT,
Very limited
I’m looking for an app that will help me learn music theory specifically for music composition. The fact that only the basics are available for free really disappoints me. I would like to know if this app has any information on chord progressions and music genres that correspond with each progression. This may be a bit much to ask, but music theory is extremely important for composition.
Macadamia123,
My review
I do like this, but it does get too advanced too quickly.
Shayne W,
Fantastic information with one small problem
I’ve used this app to help build my competency with recognizing chords. The “practice” section has been fantastic, but I noticed a small glitch. You cannot remove a choice once you click it.
My name is Nathan,
Don’t use this app, it teaches incorrect notation
I was checking out this app to potentially recommend to a student and immediately found a lot of the answers were just wrong. At one point it said that A sharp and A flat are the same note. Not every answer was erroneous but enough that using this app would quickly teach you the wrong way to read music notation, which is highly problematic.

Free open source music education
just beautiful, this is why the world needs.
GOMBOC,
Great for beginners
Really helpful for beginners trying to read music
Glue1975,
Great... but
This is a fun and addictive app, but it needs to fix a glitch where sometimes the enharmonic equivalent notes (Gb or F# for example) are not treated the same.... correct me if i am wrong, but wouldn’t an Adim7 have a double-flatted seventh note (Gb) ... the App says wrong, its an F#...
incrediblemulk,
Ok
This app was ok. It was a little bit bland.
