The myrecovery app enables surgeons, doctors, rehabilitation specialists and other healthcare professionals to create digital treatment companions that are customised to each care pathway.
The aim of the app is to inform, support and empower you - every step of the way - with short videos highlighting key points for each stage; interactive exercise videos and self-care tools to help you set and track progress towards your treatment goals.
If you have been recommended the myrecovery app, please note that there are two different ways to register - either on the app itself or via an online form.
In many cases, you will receive an email with a link to the app and/or a text message with a unique 6-digit pin code to use to register for the app in a few quick steps.
In some cases, your surgeon or healthcare team may direct you to an online form where you enter a few relevant details to register for the right app pathway. Once you’ve registered, you will be ready to Log in to the app with your email address and chosen password.
myrecovery also integrates with the Apple Health app, enabling us to give you personalised targets and encouragement.

The Joint School App is a free service, with general information and self-care tools for anyone awaiting or recovering from hip or knee replacement surgery. Very helpful!
This app has been really helpful to have before and after surgery. There’s a lot of information provided that helped me prepare for surgery and also allows me to track my progress. I feel it’s been essential to my recovery.

Gel shot
I’m a little disappointed just had my gel shot last Friday but was also expecting to get the other knee taken care of since I had told Dr. Sullivan the it was my Primary Physician that had put in for it, also had spoken to Dr. Sullivan if he would submit to my Insurance for 3 shots to be given but no one knew if he had done that or not. So of course some what disappointed in that. I still feel some discomfort in my left knee so I don’t know what’s going on with that being the third day.

This really helped me through my surgery. Had all the information I needed and took the guesswork out of a lot of things. I wish had this for my other surgeries.

I like the idea but not everything allows you to record exercises or even surveys accurately. Most cases it didn’t let me record my exercises which I have done daily.
