Description

Myri is an inclusive, non-judgemental community. It is the digital assistant every mama has been waiting for! Think of someone holding your hand when you come home from the hospital. It is your guide to postpartum wellness. Created by a clinical pharmacist, certified personal trainer with pre and post natal experience, you are in good hands! Created for moms, by a mom. Because, we get it mama.

Within our App, you will find resources for you and your babe right at your fingertips! We provide custom workouts tailored for your recovery and offer necessary tools to help you track all things postpartum, so you don’t have to keep track of multiple apps and logs! We know you have superpowers, but let us be your sidekick!

When arriving home from the hospital, there are usually 6 weeks that pass by before being seen by a provider and obtaining clearance to workout. Before engaging in regular exercise, moms must apply foundational restorative techniques with pelvic health and diastasis recti (“mommy pooch”) in mind. You can’t hit the ground running and you shouldn’t. We know mom’s don’t have hours to spend on workout, so we let you achieve measurable results in just 10-25 minutes a day. Everything in this App has been carefully crafted to support you during one of the most beautiful and challenging times of your life.

Pregnant? Throw it on your hospital list and have it ready to download when your baby gets here!

How it works:

Fill out a short set of questions and tell us when and how you delivered. This helps us determine which workouts are appropriate for you in your journey. Workouts will be scheduled weekly and your progress is evaluated in-App, prior to moving to the next phase. We also provide weekly expectations after coming home, for you and the baby. No heavy clinical jargon, just useful tips and transparency in motherhood!

What’s included?

- Weekly, tailored postpartum rehab and recovery workouts based on your birthing experience.
- Diastasis recti tracking and considerations. Don't know what that is? We will teach you!
- Pelvic floor strengthening exercises to recovery gradually.
- Weekly “what to expect” for both you and baby. Not the kind where we show you a size of a fruit. Think of us as your girlfriend next door, we don’t judge mama.
- Relevant weekly articles catered for your journey.
- Breastfeeding tracker allows nursing progress in real time with our easy-to-use timer. Track feeding by one breast or both. We do the logging for which side and amount for you!

- Diaper tracking taken up a notch. Not only can you track how many wet/poopy diapers, we provide important insights each color and texture.

Tasha_Rae813,
The best!!
I was so excited to use this app for my postpartum recovery that I downloaded it while still pregnant! I am now 9 weeks postpartum and the information Dr. Pinkey Patel provides, along with her personal touch and wit makes you feel informed and not alone in this journey of motherhood. Breastfeeding is hard. Pumping is hard. Doing it all at the same time is hard. Not to mention your downstairs area being all out of whack! Pinkey has found a way to bring it all together and keep us wanting more. She has only just begun her journey with The SnapBack, so not only is she communicative and prompt with her customer service messages, but also constantly upgrading....she strives to make sure her customers not only have what they need, but what they want to help them with their recovery! I LOVE the exercises, her info, and look forward to learning more as I evolve in my recovery. Download this, you won’t regret it!!

A lot of room for improvement
I was super excited about this app (particularly because looking up videos on Google/YouTube can be time consuming and I often question the reliability/safety of some of the postpartum workout plans online..) but this app leaves a lot to be desired. For someone who is pretty fit and worked out regularly up until the day of delivery, I wish the workouts were customizable so I could access all of the videos and choose which day’s exercise my body was ready for or do more than one exercise. I’ve been doing 10-20min of deep breathing daily since pp day 4, so the fact that today’s workout was just 4 minutes of more deep breathing was disappointing. I wanted to access the videos for week 3, but the app only lets you view the recommended exercise for that day. I also tried updating my preferences from 4 to 7 days of exercises, but unfortunately the app does not refresh with a workout plan once you’ve already entered your preference. Overall it’s a great concept but could be so much better. Until the kinks are worked out, if you were fairly fit before delivery, I would recommend using Robin’s postpartum strength classes on the Peloton app in addition to daily deep breathing sessions and short walks as tolerated.
skatpr,
Logs inaccessible
Update:logs are accessible. Unfortunately it won’t save the breastfeeding time which is inconvenient. I also noticed the exercises stay on week one day seven. It won’t let me progress to week two and I don’t believe that’s a subscription service. Good app but still has a few bugs.

This would be a great app. It’s is supposed to track all the necessary details however, the logs don’t work. I downloaded this app a week ago and it was working fine. I updated the app and now, when I open up the logs to track when the last feeding was and how long, or how much I pumped from each breast or the number of diapers, the log screen goes blank and the app freezes. I tried re-downloading the app and still there is a bug or glitch in the log section. So now the app is just helpful for the workouts, and journal. It’s a shame because the most important information to keep track of is just gone and it was such a good idea in theory. I submitted feedback to let them know about the error/glitch but who knows if it’ll get fixed.
Aashka26,
Worth it. Get the app!
This is a really good app to help you get moving and start your recovery. This app has been especially helpful to me because I have DR and the workouts worked well with what I was doing in PT. It also has great features for scar management which I found very helpful as well. I have noticed the change in the strength I have to get through the workouts and also have noticed my DR getting better. The workouts are low impact and build as you progress which is great to help you properly recover. This is something that I learned during pregnancy and following SnapBack on how important it is to not get back into your normal gym routine and go back to doing crunches. Thanks to the SnapBack app for giving me the knowledge and creating a great app to help with core recovery. Mommy pouch don’t get too comfortable!
Shupi0816,
Must have for postpartum recovery
I heard about the app from one of my friend and also social media, and was eager to find out how it would help me.
To say that postpartum period is hard is an understatement of the century... nobody tells you the hard reality you are about to face, however this app has it all. Dr Pinkey Patel is simply amazing and very knowledgeable and responsive.
This app goes through all, workout, how to start where to start, as simple as breathing exercises are all laid out in a program for you. They only take 15-18 min a day, and it’s the best 20 min you will spend on yourself. It even has a community feature where you can ask all questions to women who are going through the same stuff as you.
Everybody should have this app as soon as they know they are pregnant.
It’s a must have for postpartum care!
Megha M, MD,
Why you need this app!
As a mom of 2 and physician - let me tell you: no one tells you how hard it is to deal with pelvic floor and core weakness. Not even my Obgyn! I worked out plenty and thought I’d be fine - but I was far from it. After my second baby was born, my muscles became so unsynchronized, my back arched, my hips internally rotated, and I struggled with back pain. And yes - all those muscles attach to your pelvis! Who knew it all stemmed from poor recovery after my first child 4 years ago!
I Finally started PT and the therapist I’m working with knows and learned from this app! She encouraged me to use it and also tells other patients to use it before, during, and after pregnancy. Something (again) no one tells you!

As someone who just wanted to jump back in - this app taught me it’s okay to just breath as a work out - be patient. Truly the best thing I did to retrain my core. What’s also great is you can tell Pinky just wants you to feel strong - which is why the free version even has sooo much content! Women supporting women - it’s awesome!

Thanks so much for what you do! I’ve been telling all my patients to do this in pregnancy so they have smoother deliveries and recovery!
dkadakia,
Postpartum MUST HAVE!
I came across this app when I was pregnant with my second baby. After my first babe was born I had diastasis recti, which no one told me to be aware of including my OB. Already going through my first postpartum period I knew I needed to be more prepared. This app is the one stop shop for all our postpartum needs. It includes feeding logs, appropriate weekly exercises which are personalized to your current symptoms, abdominal separation, so much more. This app definitely has taken away all the thinking we do regarding where to log and what exercise to do and allows us to actually DO and move on with our busy days as new mommas! Also, Pinkey has been absolutely wonderful with responding to personal questions and technical issues on the app!! If you get this app, you def won’t regret it!
Swaney5,
I'm snappin back!
I'm a big believer in working out and being the healthiest you. I was so excited to start this app that I downloaded way before I delivered. I am now 7 weeks postpartum and recently had my wellness check with my doctor and my doctor said she was surprised how quickly I healed. It's all due to Pinky and her daily workouts/exercises. I love reading the weekly updates and to know I am not alone in what I'm feeling is great! I also enjoy that you can document all you little ones diapers, feedings and your pumping all in one place. It is so handy when you go to the pediatrician's office and they ask for the run down. People have asked what they recommend for pregnancy and I always mention this app. Definitely worth it!
bri@beachlifeorganic,
A MUST HAVE APP
During my first pregnancy I did so much research on what to expect DURING pregnancy & how to deliver naturally .... but I didn’t focus on what comes after in terms of my body & MY RECOVERY. Everything is soft & mushy, I had no clue what I could or shouldn’t do.

- The SnapBack was exactly what I needed to get moving (safely) again. The “workouts” in the initial weeks are a combination of gentle movements designed to bring your attention back to your core and pelvic floor. No need to wait 6 weeks for clearance from your OB ... this app is designed to begin in the very beginning and all you need is about fifteen minutes of time to yourself and space on your bedroom floor to get it done.

The exercises are SAFE and designed to mimic exactly what you would be taught by a physical therapist if you were to see one for recovery after giving birth. How do I know? Because after driving an hour in traffic to get to my first “pelvic floor rehab session” ... the therapist taught me a handful of exercises ... all of them which I had already been doing while using the App, she was very impressed!

my only regret is that I didn’t download it sooner, don’t make the same mistake.
Minu823,
Great app! But some glitches
Love everything about this app! First time mom here and been using it since day 2 of giving birth. However there are a couple things with the app that glitches, which can be inconvenient. Some times when I open the app it takes forever for it to load and for me to access the app. Even when I close out of it and open it again, it still takes forever and then I miss the exact time I started feeding. I’ve also had issues with the log, where it doesn’t save entries properly and if I open an entry to edit, it sometimes clears it out and saves it as 0’s. Would there be a way to fix these bugs?
