I loved this game! The story line sucked me in (& I rarely pay attention to the stories, so that’s not a common thing for me.) I was actually disappointed when I beat the game - I wasn’t ready to quit playing! 😏
The attention they gave to the “scenery” & the backgrounds was great, it was very attractive; detailed, but not so cluttered (or bright) that it got irritating. (Does anyone else get irritated by that? It makes me feel like I’m dyslexic, & like my eyes are crossing!)
I enjoyed the matching games played to defeat the ghost souls, and the HOPs, too.
I will say that there really weren’t very many HOPs, maybe 6-7 in the whole game. (it may be more, but that’s how I recall it.)
You have to go to different islands to find the beads, and I really enjoyed the way the swamp was made, and the Boatman was awesome! I really enjoyed his stories about each of the destinations. I don’t usually like having to use a map (in the game itself, not the map OF the game, if that makes sense?) to fly, boat, drive, (whatever) to reach the character’s destinations, but as I said - the Boatman’s stories, & the short distances made it fun.
It’s not a difficult game, but it’s not super easy, either. (Although you can make it be to each extreme when you choose the settings, of course.)
Did anyone else think it was a little short? I can’t really tell, because I zoomed through it ... but was it short, or was it due to how much I enjoyed playing? 😁
I highly recommend this one!
