Quite Good Actually

I did not find the story riveting but I am entertained. This game is chock full of things to accomplish. I enjoyed the puzzles and HOS. Liked the length of the game; very long bonus chapter. One of the better games released recently I thought.

Fair but too repetitive

I love these type of games and usually buy the one on sale for the week. Great price for around 6 hours of entertainment. I have played dozens of these games, mostly from Big Fish and Elephant Games, so I have a lot of experience to compare this one. The app itself ran fluently with no glitches, no issues. Excellent. My lower rating for this one had to do with the mini games … they were were so boring, almost all ask you to rotate or move things in a circle. Lots of variations of moving things in circles. Or possible getting one object to another space, often by ….moving in circles! The hidden objects were very well done, with tasks you must do inside the hidden object game in order to find the target item. The story line was not my favorite and the scenes were consistently gothic, so if you like that sort of thing, you’ll enjoy this one, but I prefer more modern day or fun scenes, the ones with a variety are the best. Very little variety here.
Overall…it’s a good game and runs well. I can recommend it for other users.

So so nothing special

I really think the storyline could’ve been more creative, from the monsters to the mini games. I think I skipped about nine mini games of the same type with the markers that you have to move a certain number of times. You couldn’t be more creative and come up with different games for each many game? And why not offer the matching option for every mini game? Why just some of them? I like that option. And if you’re going to say easy, it should really be easy. Then in the bonus game, The museum owner does the same thing and is in trouble again with an even more corny monster...that makes no sense. This is just not worth the money.

Enjoyable but too short

I think that has been my view of almost every game I have played recently, that they are all too short. Often, the remaining game play following the demo is not substantial enough to warrant the purchase, but you never know that until you have made the purchase. I often long for the days when games provided hours of entertainment. First game I ever played, Zork. That was in the mid 80s. Interactive fiction with no graphics, but hours and hour and even days of game play!

Pretty good

How many times should you have to find a broom to clear away cobwebs? Or find food (or a whistle) to distract/scare away animals? Nothing new here although the game was long and the artwork good. Some games were impenetrable to me - even with instructions. Still waiting for a game with McGyver elements - one where I don’t have to find a pickaxe to bash open a box when there a perfectly good rock in my inventory.

Nothing spectacular but not bad

Nothing really original, but plays pretty well. Has match 3 available if you tire of the hog. Seems a tad dated but it’s a decent time waster. Do play the freebie and see if you are interested
Update- deducted a star due to short length. Also in the custom settings the easy vs hard setting only refers to what settings certain mini games start on.

Redundant

I could only give this three stars. I usually like Mystery Tales, but this particular storyline has been done too many times. Guy like she’s daughter/wife/both. Must bring them back to life. But dude is dead himself. 🤷🏼‍♀️ And how many amulets and crystals can you use in one game. I did like the graphics, and most of the gameplay. But it might be time for a fresh storyline.

Not much Mystery

I was so excited to see another installment of this series. But as I played I realized that the plot and action was lacking this time. You could guess what was going to happen next. I was bored by the end wondering when it would reach the end. Hopefully the next installment will have the excitement and plot twist of the previous ones.

Lovely game

Nice storyline with lots of mini games and HOPS...ability to change the difficulty levels is a plus too. I wish I could find the last collectible weapon though...

Mini Games aren’t Fun

I have to say that I thought the game was good. The only issue I have is the mini games. Instructions are not clear and games are not fun to play. I like hidden objects, more of those would be better.
