Description

MySudo is the all-in-one privacy app that lets you speak privately, browse privately and pay privately, all via secure digital profiles called Sudos. Each Sudo can have a secure phone number, handle, email, private browser and virtual card, so you can use your Sudo details instead of your own. Your personal information is safe since you haven’t shared it — we won’t even ask for a username or password to set up MySudo.

Create up to 9 Sudos for everything you do: shopping, socializing, online selling and more.
MySudo is a privacy powerhouse, packed with:

Sudo handles - Use for end-to-end encrypted messages and video, voice and group calls with other MySudo users.

Sudo email addresses - Email anyone, and if they’re a MySudo user too, your emails will be end-to-end encrypted.

Sudo phone numbers - Get working phone numbers in locations of your choice, with customizable voicemail, ring tone and contacts. Call or message anyone. Sudo-to-Sudo calls and messages are end-to-end encrypted.

Sudo-to-Sudo comms - Connect with other MySudo users via voice, video or group calls and text, with unlimited messages and minutes.

Sudo private browsers - Use each Sudo’s private browser to search the internet without ads and pop-ups. The browser blocks ads and tracker cookies by default, and lets you compartmentalize your browsing by Sudo.

Sudo virtual cards - Use your virtual card instead of your personal credit or debit card to check out and pay online. Protect your privacy, stop tracking, and keep your money safe.Virtual cards are US only. Other locations coming soon.

MYSUDO LETS YOU:

• Search the internet without ads and pop-ups using the private browser.
• Pay online with your virtual card without worrying about tracking or hacking.
• Call, text, and email anyone without giving up your private details. And if they use MySudo too, voice, video and group calls, email and messages are end-to-end encrypted.

SO MUCH PRIVACY PACKED INTO ONE APP:

• No personal information like email or phone number to create an account
• No registration login or password to access the app
• End-to-end encrypted communications with other MySudo users
• Built-in decentralized identity technologies

After installing and creating your account, you can choose from three paid subscription levels, to get up to nine separate Sudos and phone numbers. Phone numbers are available from the US, Canada and the UK:

jacq Ace,
5 years very upsetting treatment
The issue has been resolved professionally! Thank you!

We have been with sudo for 5 years and had two separate accounts on two separate devices. At the beginning of this year all that changed and now we are both out of our accounts and some how the accounts have become one account and neither of us can access our data and contacts, we cannot delete anything or restore our purchases and our constant requests are now being ignored. We were first told that the Apple ID could not affect the accounts and now we are being told that the ID is the problem not their service changes without notifying us or having any regard for the years of data we have on sudos and contacts! We are very angry at the way we are being treated and we continue to pay our bill every month but without the services that we have been paying for. We will file an official complaint if this is not correct this week. We have been very patient and waited for customer service to correct the issue And yesterday I was treated very rudely by customer support. This service used to be free then we started paying a few dollars for TWO SEPARATE ACCOUNTS now we are paying $180/year when the agreement was Supposed to be $79 for mine and $24 for my spouse! Fortunately I saved all this information.
The 2000th Dude,
Great Privacy App with Clunky Functionality
I love using this app for shopping, selling or any time I don’t want to hand out my personal details. However, with the latest “improvements” I can’t seem to mark email as read or delete emails. They don’t stay marked as read or deleted. Please fix. It’s so annoying not being able to see what my actual notifications are because I can’t update what I’ve seen. It’s so annoying that I may just remove the app, but I’m going to wait a bit longer until the next update to see if it improves as I absolutely use it to evade online marketing.

Overall, the app has a nice design and in practice it seems to work well with most services. However, apps like Facebook, Instagram and a few others won’t accept the MySudo phone numbers. I don’t care about those services not being compatible with MySudo since those services infringe on privacy by just having them installed on a device. I’m not sure if there is a desktop version or web app available. I wish I could access MySudo email from a laptop or desktop machine when not near my phone.
TxLongHornOne,
DISAPPOINTING, Time Consuming, & awful support
I was excited to purchase Mysudo and spent a few hours updating my key financial accounts and critical subscriptions to different sudo email and phone numbers. Here is where the issues start! First, and foremost, the application receipt of text generated by a NUMBER of credit card issuers I.e. American Express does not use a phone number to text their customer back for confirmations. The companies use 5-9 digit numbers that appear to come from a computers. Well, MySudo, DOES NOT accept these numbers as text and therefore you will NOT BE ABLE TO VERIFY YOU ACCOUNT CHANGES WITH SOME OF YOUR FINANCIAL COMPANIES! To top it off, when I contacted MySudo, the attitude of the Customer service representative was the worst I had experienced stating the issue I pointed out is not a defect and is a one off issue by my as a subscriber and cannot be changed! I wanted to tell the CSR to F off! What awful and pathetic attitude for a company to take after just spending $100 with them!

I still have the service since the effort to change all my information was exhausting, however if additional issues persist I will just cancel it and eat the cost because it’s not worth dealing with their customer service! Hope this helps someone and I hope my pseudo Customer Service reads this!
DM Viscount Premier Werktherly,
Absolutely essential App
In our current year, the entire world is digital and seeks to strip and sell as much of your data as possible. This service has been absolutely essential to me in order to sandbox everything. Telemarketers get a MySudo number for me and even for work I can create a profile for each area I deal with. Logistics gets its own, and I know anyone calling or texting that number is important to take right away. Virtual cards have been a godsend as well. Since I can order anything I want and no bank can then sell my balance info or glean any activity. Do I care if marketers know I bought a watch online? Nope. But it’s better if they don’t. Our data has become more valuable than money, and the companies that profit from it already have a financial relationship with me, and are using this poorly to further their own interests. If they all kept it relatively tight, I wouldn’t care. But they don’t. They are reckless with sensitive data and if then ends up in breaches. Criminals then use that to try and gain a foothold into my life. MySudo defends against that. Great app.
Iglesias Bronx NY,
For anyone who values their online privacy and security.
My Sudo is a fantastic app for anyone who values their online privacy and security. With Sudo, users can create secure digital profiles known as "Sudos," which can be used instead of their personal information for various online and offline activities. Each Sudo can include a phone number, email address, virtual card, and even a unique handle for added anonymity.

One of the best features of Sudo is its ability to protect users from data breaches and identity theft. By using a Sudo profile instead of their personal information, users can avoid giving out sensitive details to websites or businesses that may not have the best security practices. In addition, Sudo's virtual cards allow users to make online purchases without risking their actual credit or debit card information.

Another great aspect of Sudo is its ease of use. The app is straightforward and user-friendly, making it simple for anyone to create and manage their Sudos. The ability to have multiple Sudos also allows users to compartmentalize their personal and professional lives, which can be especially useful for entrepreneurs or freelancers.

Overall, Sudo is a highly recommended app for anyone who wants to protect their online privacy and keep their personal information secure. Its comprehensive suite of features, coupled with its user-friendly interface, make it a valuable tool for anyone who spends time online.
goodbye to a good product,
Numerous profiles not working
I have been using the app for a year now, very supportive of privacy companies so I pay for the max version even though I only use 3 numbers and not 9. I want this service to continue. With that being said 2 of my number just don’t work anymore, people also using the sudo app text me, Call me and nothing shows up to those profiles. I send texts from my actual phone number to test it and they never come through. I get a notification of something but no actual text or call. I desperately need those 2 numbers for 2 factor authentication and they won’t receive texts. If this issue isn’t fixed asap I am going to find a service that seems to work a bit more as expected.

*update- customer service addressed and helped me fix the issue so changing my rating, great customer service.
HaiGuise,
Fake privacy
This app purports to take back your privacy by offering you the ability to pay for burner accounts essentially. The problem is, you can’t use it if you also use a VPN which really offers true privacy. Instead when you go to click on “create my first sudo” an error message pops up claiming they are having a hard time registering your device. Ironic for a company that claims to offer privacy yet they want to force you to expose your true IP address in order to attain their fake privacy app. Uninstalled. Go with anything else like TextMe for phone numbers/texting or ProtonMail for legit encrypted free email. This app is a joke and unless all features are encrypted anyway, none of it is really private. EDIT TO REPLY TO DEV RESPONSE. My VPN is in the US and you have ALL their servers blocked. The fact that your asking me to turn off my VPN to register with you is ridiculous. Obviously these devs don’t grasp the concept of what real privacy is. They tout not asking for your info but basically force you to disconnect from a VPN which is giving them your info and location in order to register. Dumb dumb dumb.
Chaos Hawk,
Control your digital identity
The concept of separating your real identity from digital ones (sudos) might be new to many people, but this is one of the best ways to protect yourself online. MySudo does a great job helping you to easily keep track of different profiles for yourself, with phone, email and virtual cards all in one place.

If you don’t want to give up your real info to a new service (and let’s be honest, you shouldn’t) having MySudo provide it for you is super convenient.

Although the messaging is fine too, I’d recommend Signal for that. If you want even better control over email try SimpleLogin to become basically un-spammable. (Both are free) The only catch to MySudo is that it costs to use it to its full potential, but of course it costs and it’s great that there’s no ads or shady data business going on in the background.
Curtis_L_D,
Used to love, now mediocre, use for burners only
I was an early adopter and absolutely loved this brilliant service. I would gladly have paid the premium (and still might, if they get their stuff together). So this review is not about going paid vs free. I’ve watched many services struggle to make this transition, and it appears Sudo is no different.

First, the old app was much easier to use. I don’t understand some of the interface decisions that were made with the newer version. It’s less intuitive and at times downright confusing. Guys, jump in your Delorean and go back in time.

Second, I can’t recommend that you use this service for any Sudos that you may need to keep for business or other fairly important purposes over time. Expect that you will lose access at some point when you transition between devices or apps (should they decide to start another app, again). The backup and transition have been absolutely painful, and in their rush to monetize in a new app, they are frustrating longtime users.

Instead, use this app as it stands today for compartmenting all the non-essential stuff. Throwaway accounts. That’s what it excels at. If you lose info, no harm, no foul. Five stars for the core idea. Three for execution. One for data migration/backup. Here’s hoping for something better down the road.
bedlam and drudgery,
Great for privacy (caveats) but poor for security
Mostly great for privacy. Obviously don’t give them your normal phone number to look for your contacts. Duh. And of course to use the virtual credit card you have to give them all the government stuff including your name address etc. But you don’t have to use those two features and therefor it is pretty good with privacy.

Poor for security. If someone adds their face or fingerprint to your phone, MySudo accepts that new persons biometrics without question. The right behavior, which apps like 1Password use, is to disable biometrics when a new biometric is added, until you use your separate app password for authentication. This should be enabled to prevent shoulder surfers from getting access to MySudo just via your phones passcode.
