Auto Chess with individual quirks
This game is really cool. If you’ve played TFT, DOTA chess or similar you should try this. I love those games and play them often but on mobile it’s difficult because of card size and the mobile aspect. I need to put my phone away or go out of service I lose. This game has changed the way some of that works to make it much more mobile friendly. The deck building and cards are also a little different. It’s more cumulative than per game. While you do gain cards and items in a game, you have a prebuilt of sorts you take into. This makes games a lot faster and once again, mobile friendly. For those complaining about F2P and rewards, if you just manage your gold and only upgrade the min number of units to get rewards each day you will be fine but the value of $1 or $2 is really good in this game. Nothing like Raid where it’s $100 for 1 legendary. I’m done ranting. Download it. :)

Needs Improvements
The game itself is fun and enjoyable but there are little things here and there that do nothing but bug the player. The prime example for this is that 2x is locked behind the battle pass. If your were going to lock a simple feature behind a pay wall it should at least be good like 4x speed or maybe even 8x. But f2p players don’t even get the option for 2x is ridiculous. Also the game thrives of players spending money with clear favoritism of players who spend money now that could be changed in the future but as of now it has not changed. It would be nice to see events activity going on to keep the player engaged in the game play which is a huge let down as the advertisement differ from the actually game which sadly is a common thing nowadays but still sad that games like this. Regardless this game still has plenty of space for improvement and I would love to see it do so but in its current state this game struggles to help the f2p community which is a big portion of every game community. It would be nice if the were bonuses for players who could advance through the game completely f2p similar to the iron man challenge in rune scape. I think a feature like that could make this game a stand out success but only time will tell.

F2P is Hopeless
I played every day until maximum rewards for a little over one month straight and I’ve decided to uninstall. Ultimately the grind, repetition and complete non-viability of being F2P in this game led to this decision. In perspective, playing two hours a day for a month straight got me a couple of common and uncommon units to level 12. I’ve seen, and somehow been matched against, players with units that are level 25! That would take me A YEAR or more to get there, and even then it would only be commons and uncommons. Leveling up Legendaries and Mythics (rarity, of course, translates to power in this game) is simply a matter of cash. It’s inconceivable to get there, ever, as a F2P player. The developers have also made a number of player-unfriendly choices such as locking the battle speed up option behind a ten dollar per month paywall and offering entire factions instantly up to high levels for up to 100 dollars in the shop. In 30 seconds with cash you’ll leapfrog months of F2P progress. The gameplay itself is OKAY but it’s repetitive and has very little skill or player agency. Ultimately it’s just a game of stats and levels. You don’t actually control your units or get to “outplay” anyone. The deeper you get the more hopeless you realize the experience is unless you’re going to pony up. I’m just not, so, I quit.

I love this game but have suggestions
Hi I absolutely love this game. I have a couple draw backs.
1. It’s such a grind to get coin. I don’t want to pay to get coin. I feel like every battle won maybe some coins should be paid. I also think every tournament won(ranked or classic) should also pay some coins to maybe the top three ranked.
2. I have played several ranked and classic tournaments where I barely got #6. I wish the algorithm was a little more evened out. I spent HOURS trying to get 4th so I would stop sliding back in my rank. Classic is pretty even but ranked is definitely not that even.
3. The prices in the shop to buy more cards of characters are so high. Even with hours of grinding I feel like I might as well pay or it’ll be days before I can upgrade what I have and I can’t even think of getting cards for the ones I need on my team.
Otherwise I love the game play and diversity. I like there’s no clan or chats.

Not too bad… even pretty good!
Placement of units does matter. It is not just a clumsy smash of high powered characters. Been beaten by lower power levels just because I had bad placement.
Still it is largely a pay-to-play. The time it would take to grind to get the characters you need would take far too much time. I mean even some kids will HAVE kids by the time certain characters become useful and leveled up. Don’t remember if there was way to use gems to solely get character cards, but it wasn’t largely advertised.
The system mechanics are simple and can use one hand to play. Perhaps even just your nose if your hands are full.
The one thing that really bothers me is that you have to pay for the ‘dragon hoard’. 5$ for basic, 20$ for 5x-multiplier. Definitely think the basic should be free, you earn it after all. That might seem minor to some, but that was what killed the game for me. I deleted this shortly after I figured that out.
Without massive amounts of card through big chest and whatnot, there is a ceiling that is to difficult to breakthrough without spending money.
Still for the time and 5$ spent, I really enjoyed the game and put a good 3-4 hours within 5 days before being disappointed.

Change my mind
I wrote a review and gave it 5 stars bc the game is genuinely super fun, BUT now I’m giving it 4 bc the fact that the reward system is great rewards for that daily ladder thing but u can beat it in 3 tourneys then no loot can be gained after that. Also the daily challenge and incursion are so absolutely difficult that I have yet to beat either one with multiple different variations of champions. “You can beat any opponent with champions just find the correct formation”, ya sure easier said than done like wow I am not playing them anymore they are far too difficult to figure out like this ice chick just has such OP champions they’re all higher level and have infinite health I don’t understand.

Shiny stuff !
Another game that does an incredible job at giving you seratonin overload for the first couple hours of gameplay and then just all of a sudden Out Of Nowhere upgrading cards just becomes a pain. I don't mind the game being a grind I just wish we could skip the part where the game is a ton of fun in the beggining and then just a wall that you know you can get over with a quick 20 dollar purchase and then maybe another one just to be sure. Unfortunately this game isn't the first like this and won't be the last. However mechanics and gameplay is cool and if you don't mind spending money on packs .. go for it. A simple tft knockoff that entices you with shiny chests that you totally don't need to buy until you obviously do

Incredible and as far as I know 1 of a kind.
My title should also include, at least for now because this will have many pale imitations in the very near future. I was shocked by the fact that what was depicted in the commercial was a reasonable approximation of the actual gameplay which for me at least is rarely the case anymore. The game looks great is easy to play immediately the battles are quick characters are plentiful with wide ranging skills and though it’s early days (for me) no financial red flags have popped up yet.

1 star pay to win game.
Another pay to win game with poor battle design, cards on the market require a large amount of gold or actual money to buy to upgrade your hero's, by design this game gives the defending team an advantage over yours team 98% of time so your almost required to keep spend and upgrading even if they tell you combine heros for their synergy or placement on the board blah blah blah thats a load of bull when my team of 7500 with higher level hero's get taken out buy a team level of 6400. This is done intentionally so players think its their team that needs upgrading to win so their we go spending money to do just that. When you have people complaining about the same issues you know the game is broken.

Pay to win game
You will win a couple of matches in the first and second area, after that it gets extremely difficult to the point where you will lose just to get xp, trying to buy troops is very expensive and there are limited ways of receiving gold except for the daily tower which you can run through really fast and it only resets every 24 hours. If you don’t mind losing matches just to grind XP and gold then this game is for you, it’s not fun being weak and going against strong ai every matchWhen there’s literally no way to upgrade your troops except to keep losing and playing especially when the AI grow stronger every match
