MyURMedicine Hack 10.4.2 + Redeem Codes

I highly recommend this app. The pre check in feature saves time when checking in at an appointment. Love how I can confirm or cancel an appointment in the app. Love the maps feature on an appointment. Now I don’t have to get the address and then open my maps app to get directions. Everything is all under this one app. They are improving this app all the time. I have nothing bad to say about it and can’t say enough good things. Check it out.

Each update has made this app progressively worse and glitchy. Many times the app refuses to open or becomes unresponsive. It gets harder and harder to find what you actually need with all the new submenu options, instead of a simple list. Also, you can no longer message your provider if the app decides you can’t— if you haven’t been to visit a particular provider very recently, it doesn’t matter if you have long term monitoring as you have been a patient of their’s for ten years, the app won’t let you message them.

URMed expects patients to use this but doesn’t make sure providers also use it. Most times the e-check in does nothing and the patient must check in again upon arrival. Half the time the data is never properly updated to actually be useful if you were hospitalized. There is no place in the record for important health information such as dietary restrictions and food/chemical intolerances. If it isn’t a selectable allergy, it’s not listed, so if you’re hospitalized at URMC and so sick that you can’t advocate for yourself, you will be in a world of hurt when they try to feed you.

I don’t like my chart as much as I did before. The old my chart let me delete message that I no longer want to see. Know they are all back so that are so old it does not need to be seem. I also don’t like that drs write stuff on my chart that they will not tell you to your face. If you have something to say then say it.
I like to be able to made a file my self to put thing in you send to me that I don’t need to see very time I log in. Like the bill, I wrote to building and said I want a paper bill at the house. So very time I log in all I see it how much you owe you, but you done do was I ask so no money come to you.
I’m a afraid that people will hack into my chart and change or learn thing about me I don’t want them to know. I also don’t like it want I send a note to my dr. Everyone but the dr reads the note. It has happened more then once, when I write to the dr only the dr should be able to read and write back. I don’t like LPN OR RN reading so thing that was not written them. They should have there own place to write to the LPN or RN. When you write a note to your dr. I thought it was dr patient confidential. Only patient and dr saw. Not the stuff

Sending me to collections when I pay a decent amount every month is not only illegal but heartless and obnoxious, even as I spoke to the financial office, they were not helpful and told me as a courtesy they would remove. Not admitting to their mistakes, typical bad attitudes.
I’m so glad I moved to another state. The care was awful except for Casey she is the only good one at dr herbowy office. He’s nothing but a greedy person. I’m not alone in my opinion, I know many that say the same thing. Eight thousand patients, there isn’t any doctor that would not be able to care for that many patients.
Also, he never told me I was pre-diabetic back in 2012. I know now I have diabetes and my workplace is the ones that discovered it. I don’t blame others for my medical conditions but that is worth mentioning that I didn’t receive any correspondence or phone calls after receiving a 6.5 A1C result in 2012.
Also I called office and told them I moved months ago to another state ,and they refilled my medication at a pharmacy in WV , I haven’t been there or had follow up blood work done, they should not be filling RX.

As an RN myself I appreciate the efficiency of the program and patient access to my own chart and lab values.
It is critical that patients have a role in their own health. Has given me as a patient more control over my treatments.
The messaging system is by far the best Provider to patient communication that I have ever used.
No longer having to pass messages around the office and wait on phone forever! Gives patients direct links to their Providers!

The only part I noticed that bothered me is that a Providers name appears in My Chart that I have never had contact with.
For example,
I had to rule out Covid and Dr Micheal Apostolakos name was listed in my chart.

Overall, a giant leap for Providers and their patients!

This version is to confusing you have to literally go through every message twice after opening it to leave the dashboard then when you open it the set up is off where all conversations look like they blend and you can accidentally send message to wrong doctor, then the dashboard it won’t get rid of things you completed like vaccinations so it’s always busy as if you have things to complete on your dash portal. Please update soon! Being this is the new way of the world make it easier to manage, I could imagine what elders are going through now if it’s confusing to myself.

This is a fine tool for those of us who enjoy keeping our health facts together how ever in the beginning I was able to print test results but that advantage disappeared long ago. I really miss this as I found I had better control over my glucose balance when I could just thumb through my note book to compare readings. I would certainly appreciate having this capability back. Is there any way you can accommodate me?

I feel so in touch with the doctor at all times. I get results from test that help me ask questions . If I have a problem, I write to my dr. (Dr. Ryan) who always gets back to me within hours. I can make appointments easily, scheduled my mammogram so fast and got results right on MyChart. No waiting for snail mail for results. It’s the best thing ever! Joy Pascarella

Before UR “improved” the My Chart ap, i could see and compare the results of various tests over time—A1c, cholesterol, kidney function etc—that are of importance to my health status. Now, I get a wavy line against a pastel background. What does the line mean? Are my test results improving, deteriorating or staying the same? I can’t tell because I no longer have access to that information. Oh, and what is the “normal” that my results are being compared to? This new system treats us like children who are not intelligent enough to understand how our numbers are trending. Please BRING BACK THE OLD CHARTS!

Especially awkward is billing. It has always been awful and very unfriendly, now without paper it’s very hard for older people. You assume everyone is proficient with a computer. You make it quite difficult to speak with a human, maybe you let them all go.
Too many notices about medicine refills, etc. the pharmacy tells us, so we get 2 notices.
I do like the ability to message provider. I might be reluctant to bother him with a phone call but messaging is nicer…for me, maybe not for provider.
