MyTrees mitigates my “eco-anxiety”
Since I can’t always be planting trees myself, I love MyTrees because it reminds me I can put my money towards putting roots in the ground and taking carbon from the air in real-time. MyTrees helps with my “eco-anxiety” every time I hear about negative climate impacts in the news and feel helpless to change things. I know I’m personally having a positive climate impact as I watch my trees grow on the platform! Thanks, MyTrees!

Seems fishy + not enough benefits for members
Would of gave it five stars if they actually showed proof of people winning the daily drawings. It feels like a scam when people have to pay $13 to helps plant trees, yet we don’t get much back. I purchased the $13 subscription with you guys and let me tell you it doesn’t seem to have any benefits. You don’t get more daily trees, the drawings seem like a fraud because there is no evidence they are offering for people who do buy the subscription and get put into more drawings. Great way to save the planet, but you guys need to do more for the people who are paying the monthly $13 subscription. Not entirely sure if this is a fraud app, but it seems to do the right (okish) job. It needs more development for this app and more rewards for the people paying $13 a month. Otherwise don’t waste your time with this app.

I just got this app and...
Hey MyTree app creators, I just signed up for an account. I like it. BUT, when signing up, on the first page that pops up, it would be more helpful if you could choose more options instead of just one. Because most people do more than one “green action.” Therefore, that person should be able to select more than one action.
Next, when doing the daily tasks, I would like to have the option of selecting more than one “green activity” within a single activity.

Decent app. It’s cute and fun. Good UI. Love the concept for sure. But they changed the rewards from cash to karma which is a let down. Just takes a long time to see profit. Whether that’s to donate or not. Overall, fun little app.
UPDATE: took a star away as I’m a bit skeptical at the legitimacy of the rewards you can purchase with karma. There were 5 remaining $100 paypal vouchers for MONTHS and then the moment I’m close to being able to get it, it’s suddenly not available. I’ve been using this app for a loooong time now and while it is cute it’s also a waste of time. I suspect I’ll never get rewards or money from this app.

Great motivator and very fun layout
I have been using the app for 1 month now. There is not a lot to it. You make a pledge or green action, you slowly earn money, and then you can plant it to get trees. Plus you could win some money. It’s honestly easy and fun.
Some suggestions to creators:
Could you list how much each action could save or create? Like walking reduces CO2 by this much or vegetarian meals can reduce this much. Could be fun. Or maybe a bar graph or pie chart of all the ways the user has pledged so they can see what they may be lacking or excelling on.
Other than that, great app and I love it. I don’t even pay for the boost, but if I could I would. They don’t offer it in my state.

Awesome app!! Been going steady 147 days an I’ve won 10$ that I just withdrew to PayPal an almost 500 karma coin!!:) Once a day log what you did to be green, I will continue to use this every day it’s worth it ❤️
FYI 500 karma coin is redeemable for 100$ PayPal, but it’s been out of stock for weeks. Hopefully they can fix that issue soon cause I’m about to make 100$

Fun app that pays, but...
I would have liked to have one the $100 auction, but the bids continue to increase more than the points I can earn in a week, so I had to settle for the $25 one. Now that I am starting over earning points, it's not likely I am going to have the opportunity to bid on another auction anytime soon so I may delete the app. Earning only 50 or so points a week isn't going to cut it.

Makes donating fun and interactive!
I was looking for a way to personally donate to help fight climate change and this app is great for that. I’ve donated to causes in the past but it’s hard to stay engaged with the cause/organization. MyTrees makes the whole process fun and interactive - I’m just starting out but I love the idea of seeing my impact forest grow over time

The concept of this app is good. You get to make money while helping to save the planet with your actions BUT after the last update the giftcards are always out of stock and there are days where your streak will be knocked back down to zero even though you keep logging your actions.

Before the update, rewards were achievable. As soon as I get close to 500 karma for the $100 reward, it changed to an auction style. People are bidding such high amounts, that there is no chance to get the rewards for anywhere close to what it was before. To top it off, I have had several cash rewards just disappear. There is no withdrawal confirmation in the app and it never reached my PayPal account. Very close to just closing my account.
