The spectrum analyzer provides a visual feedback of the notes played by the instrument and shows a small arrow to highlight the harmonic whose pitch the tuner is tracking.

Essential FFT

Not so much as a tuner, (which is fine), but for the excellent FFT! This is the best FFT for general use on iOS. I teach acoustics and I use this FFT for live demonstrations of the analysis of sound. The FFT graph is smooth and easy to use. “Seeing” noise, or the harmonic series of instruments is great regardless if you’re using an iPhone or an iPad Pro. Due to the high resolution of the iPad Pro display, screen captures as videos are high resolution too.

If you’re looking for a simple FFT that looks great, download the free version and give it a shot.

Well worth the price

Accurate easy-to-read tuning even when there's background noise. I spent a long time looking for the perfect tuner and am happy with this one.

Request: Please make the app remember the view that was chosen the last time the app was used. Or provide an option to select a default view.

Best Tuner in the Biz

If one is in need of a tuning mechanism, I can think of no application I could recommend more than this wondrous specimen of human technological musical tuning-based ingenuity.

Truly, I am in awe of its majestic splendor. It is magnificent.

I'm actually not kidding this is a great tuner.

Tuning

I use this app to tune my viola and it works great. There are many different visual options for when you tune. I compared my viola to my piano (which is tuned) and it was on POINT!!!!

Looks like a good tuner, but needs an iPhone X update

Looks great but some parts are unusable for me on an iPhone X because they are behind the notch.

Good and accurate tuner

This tuner is really on the money! The difference between this and others is it has several looks that give you options as to how you would like to view your results. I would recommend to any player who needs a quick, accurate device. Amazing a smart phone can do everything for you except wipe your arse! Enjoy!

Works great and alt tunings are good

No issues and the noise cancel and sensitivity help tuning up in a noisy room.
3d is ok but I'd rather see a much longer buffer of like 5 minutes. Haven't tried maxing out transforms but I imagine it will slow considerably on a ipad! My Mac Pro struggles with FF transforms with huge sampling.

Very Nice Combination

I wanted a tuner I could see the harmonics, plus the identified note readable from a distance. This combines this plus many other interesting features. Being able also to zoom and pan is good. Try the free version; quite useful.

Best I've found so far

Been using this for a few weeks now and found it to be the best out of several I've tried. I like that it simply tunes to the note accurately and pretty sensitively - and not in relation to a guitar or uke tuning.
