Great app- just needs a few tweaks
This app is great for learning the names of my nearly 700 students. First, I wish that the self practice quiz would mix up the names (just as the other quizzes do). I find this the most helpful way to initially learn the names (flash card style) but since they’re in order I tend to remember the order rather than connecting the names and pictures.
I also wish class lists would sync between devices. I paid the extra $3.99 for sharing but when I got a new phone all the groups I’d set up on there were deleted. I emailed customer service a few weeks ago to see if there was a way to retrieve them and haven’t heard back. I had nearly half my classes on my phone and so I was super bummed to lose them.
Finally I wish that the pictures would display bigger on the iPad. I initially set up groups on my iPad thinking it would be easier to see the larger picture but they display the same size as the iPhone.
Overall it’s been a really effective tool for learning names though!

Love it, but
This a super useful app that I use frequently. Opening the camera directly from the app seems to have stopped working, but I still can take a photo and import it in. Needs o be fixed. Also, wish I could search by creator for un-shared groups. Had to re-download the app when I experienced an iPhone software glitch and I lost all groups that hadn’t been shared, such as small groups that I just used for myself. All in all, super helpful, but a few minor flaws. Get it, you won’t be sorry if you need I remember names and faces.

Wish lists would transfer between devices
I started a new job recently and downloaded the app on my phone to try and remember people’s names, but then I got a work phone and none of the lists I had built on my personal phone transferred over to the work phone. Other than that, the app is pretty basic and straight-forward, which is pretty much what I was needing it for, though I also think it could benefit with a few leading questions to go along with each contact. Something like: where do you know them from? Distinguishing characteristics? Things not to forget? Something like that.

Loved until new phone
When I first got this app it was a huge help! Love the functionality and Ease of use! However: as noted by other reviews, I had to switch cell phones and the app will not let me import the lists into my new phone!! GRRR! I even purchased the $3.99 to share across devices, but to no avail. I can’t export, can’t import, and the option for support doesn’t existing. This is super sad, because this could be an extremely good and long lived app. I will have to look elsewhere and see if I can find something similar. (NameShark folks, if you can get this fixed it would be much appreciated!)

Pretty good app
Pretty good app. Easy to use. Well laid out. I just wish the default for taking pictures was to have the flash disabled.
Nothing says embarrassing like being in a meeting and making it *really* obvious you’re taking pictures of your colleagues by having the flash go off.
App allows you to manually disable flash, but a saner default would be to manually *enable* flash if the picture is too dark.

NEEDS AN UPDATE
While I love using this app for work: assisting bosses and higher-ups in getting to know our coworkers, it's got so many bugs. It was able to finally get to 100 people and went to sync it when the app continued to crash on me. After trying for two days to sync my contacts with people I shared it with, I wasn't able to sync it once and forced to delete it and log back in. After logging back in, IT DELETED THE ENTIRE GROUP I SPENT WEEKS CREATING. I've reached out to their tech through email and twitter but have gotten no response. If I have to pay another $4 to share a new group AGAIN for it to crash AGAIN, then this is just a waste of time to anyone trying to use it.

Works great nothing like it!
I was worried about what some of the other reviews said but currently I am on and iPhone 7 Plus with iOS 12 and everything is working perfect so far. I just added 45 contacts and pictures with no problems whatsoever. I absolutely love the quiz format. I’m hoping to give this to the rest of my volunteers so that we can memorize about 120 names! I can see many uses for this!

I’m new in town and I have to remember many, many, new names. This app is perfect for people who when they are introduced to someone, they forget their name instantly. I don’t understand the low reviews. This app has features that are worth paying for, but it’s all free and I haven’t seen an ad yet. Give this app a try.

Works well enough
It’s really nice to have this for free and it works really well for small groups. However, there are some bugs, like I can’t see how to import contacts into an existing group, and if you finish an excersise without wifi, the app will crash.
