ABOUT NAMEJS & THE GAME
The origins of Namejs’ Ring can be traced back in the legends of historical events from 12th and 13th centuries. During these times the crusaders came into the territories of Semigallian and other Baltic and Estonian related tribes and started their assaults on so called last European pagans. The creation of the game has been inspired by the Latvian movie The Pagan King produced in 2018. Game characters are made in Japanese Chibi style, widely used in manga, animations and video games all around the world. Thus, the game is not only a unique case of Latvian ancient stories available on Apple iOS platform, but also a nice blend of diverse styles and motives.
