Description

Nanuleu is a RTS/Tower defense game where you control a network of magical trees that need to survive and defeat the enemies that attempt to destroy them. In this game your only task is to plant, but while doing so you need to choose between expansion, resource acquisition and defense. Your objectives are to capture certain points on the map and destroy your enemies, before it is too late.

The game features five different scenarios: First Contact, Invasion, Exploration, Counterattack and Remnants.

Chof Carro,
A Fine Game
I have bought this game for $3 and I believe it was well worth the price and lived up to expectations fully. However I can’t feel like there was a lot of potential lost here. The simplicity of this game is what makes it initially love able to play but it gets boring real quick. The way to beat every level is the same. No matter what you’re up against it takes to brain power to figure out how to properly deal with it, but I must express how empty this game feels with its lack of enemy/unit variety. There are two summonable soldiers and the enemy can use them as well, as far as I can tell your “war tree” summons the different types randomly. That’s the one aspect of this game that is appealing and a pleasure to play with. It is for that reason that I take away a star because this game is so simple and yet so much potential is lost because of a lack of variety in anything. New units, perhaps new trees that summon specific units or you choose what your war tree produces when you plant it, would bring this game to life and an open up a new variety of strategies that the player would have to utilize to potentially deal with the new challenges that more unit variety would bring. Given this game is so simple and the A I are direct, it is obvious playing this game adding a new unit would take minimal effort and vastly improve the quality of gameplay and replay ability especially when you factor in the procedural generation this game could easily have.
RaBV,
Battery drainer
Okay l love this game there are no glitches it’s fun but I noticed one day my battery was draining so fast I could not find the problem well I went to settings and looked at battery this was top at the charts for. Battery drainage it said 29 percentage that is way to much that my only complaint about this app it’s so fun but it just drains your battery to much so I am I was really sad to delete this game can’t find another one like it developers if you read this please fix the battery problem plus I think everyone would also appreciate it I mean this game does cost money so this game needs to have that battery problem

Breathtaking. A sweet addition to my rymdkapsel-like collection
This game was so fantastic. I couldn't put it down. In fact, the challenging "sage" mode brought me back on the primary levels several times, even after beating all of the bonus missions... this is rare for me. There's pretty deep strategy here, but the developer's creativity really shines through because the depth of the strategy is naturally uncovered as you dive deeper into the challenges for each level.

Basically; the strategy depth is unveiled when you go after a challenge like protecting 4 waypoints (altars). In order to do that on some levels, you have to completely switch up your approach that may have worked perfectly under conventional circumstances... by doing that, you may have several "ah ha!" Moments. Fantastic.

Cannot wait for more levels (sincerely hope the developer will expand the game...... man; so good; multitudes more fun than rymdkapsel -- and just as much replayability).

Fun but lacking
Very reminiscent of rymdkapsel. The simplicity makes it really engrossing at first, but in later levels is underwhelming, and a few tweaks to gameplay could keep it fresh. All new structures cost an equal amount of two resources, so there’s no strategy in how to balance or prioritize them. There’s only one defense structure and one offense structure, and ultimately not enough levels, which should be the easiest thing to add. Very fun for a few hours and the potential is there for an all time favorite, but needs more tweaks for replayability and different kinds of strategy.
Mike Bradshaw (bmike),
Superb gameplay with lots of challenges
This game gets timing and elegance and design perfectly correct. Easy to get started and then you can work your way up to many challenges on different maps and levels of difficulty.

Superb soundtrack and calming animations and immersive color and design. Great replay value.

Limited
I'd like to point out that the description is misleading. The "procedurally generated maps" means there are basically three maps. Just three. If the enemies spawn on a slightly different square from game to game it in no way changes the strategy required for you to win.

The strategy for this game is as simple as expand quickly, build limited defenses, then overwhelm them with your production. It's a relaxing game that doesn't require a lot of deep thought. The art is pleaseant, the game is simple, it's casual and won't satisfy any hardcore strategy players. Biggest complaint is lack of "procedurally generated" maps. The whole game can be completed in an afternoon.

meh
This game feels both unpolished and poorly designed.

Unpolished - graphics are not very good, reminiscent of something from a crappy flash game back in 2005. I'm not saying the tree's designs are bad, but for example, the life bar animations, and even the font of the numbers counting up, all just look... "cheap". Not minimalistic in a good way. (For example, Mini Metro has simple graphics too but looks amazing).

Design - gameplay feels either too easy or too difficult. Additionally, it is pretty easy to misclick on tiles, and scrolling/zooming in doesn't feel that smooth.
BrigitKG,
Great game with lots of potential
Giving this game 5 stars because it's a fun TD type game with a lot of potential. I have no regret paying for a well done game that's "bag of gem" free (so tired of those games).

I'd be willing to pay for more levels! Needs more levels for sure!!!
YEETORNAH420GUCCI,
It's ok for the first few minutes
The concept and art is very interesting but the gameplay ended up being the downfall. It's very slow and lacks an amount of variation. I'm not pulled into the gameplay in anyway. The mechanics are simple but little is explained so the game quickly becomes very difficult. Because of this the game gets exponentially more frustrating than it is fun. Hopefully these issues may be adjusted or changed.
Wegmans,
Meh
Waited and waited for the price to drop and I'm glad I did. There are only three levels with varying degrees of difficultly. Strategy is very limited and gameplay is extremely slow and tedious. Not sure what all the fuss was about. I think the developer is talented, but I wish they had continued to develop this game because it still feels incomplete.

It's quite challenging and frustrating - not a "fun" or "relaxing" game as some might hope.
