I am so thrilled I came across this app because it has truly been a game changer when it comes to self taping, rehearsing or getting coaching when you need it all done virtually.
The hiccups I have faced with this app on previous versions have been resolved within a matter of hours and the people behind it are simply terrific. They make this app so fun and the interface is both wonderful in terms of usage and eye catching.
The fact that you have all your takes in the conversation with your reader right after you film is marvellous and the ability to edit and re upload is top notch. The feature to also change locations is AMAZING because you have so many options to have actors with different accents in different countries.
I am so BEYOND ELATED THAT I found this app and have the ability to have much more ease when needing to film self tapes. Thank you thank you thank you! Get this because it will truly assist you so much when it comes to your tapes.

The BEST app for all things acting
This app is AMAZING! Super user-friendly and easy to use, it connects you to other actors in your area when you are in need of reader for an audition or even practice/class. The best part is you can select anyone you want that best fits your work PLUS they are all vetted and talented. You can use it for your own personal auditions as well as being a reader yourself for a little extra cash. The best part is, you form a little community of friends and talented artists who all help each other and make this industry a little sweeter.

PERFECT when I need to audition last minute
This is the perfect solution for any actor in a pinch! I’ve had so many times when I’ve needed to have a reader for an audition, and haven’t been able to find one. And let’s just say recording my own voice and auditioning with myself doesn’t leave a great impression. However, with this app I found that I am able to do an effective audition that is submission worthy within minutes. So glad I have it!

I’m loving using this app for my self tape auditions whether commercial, theatre, or TV/Film. I can easily swipe through to find an actor or work as a reader when I have time to help someone out as well! The rates are all very low and the app download is free! You need this app!

As an NYC actor regularly auditioning for film and television, appointments can drop in your lap with very little notice. This app is a true life saver.

Easy to use
Love the easy to use functionality of Need A Reader! The swipe aspect is cool. Has a lot of options on it too that are helpful. Sometimes I need two or more things I have to do in one session and it helps to be able to focus in on who can help with those things. Great.

Perfect act for actors so easy to self tape!! So easy to find a reader and can easily sight up to be a reader and help your fellow actors out!! Before this app I struggled self taping all the time until I found this app. Great quality easy to do!! Would give more than 5 stars if I could! Get it now!

Thank god for need a reader! The features and the readers, it’s perfect for auditions! No need to find a space (and pay extra) to film because it can all be done in the app and that is what makes it so convenient. All the features are pretty fantastic too!

This app is super helpful for auditions or even just rehearsing material. I use it instead of asking my friends to help out and it’s great that you can see the readers resume as well. Definitely recommend!
