STORY
Your grandfather has recently passed away and you end up inheriting his café and house. You intend to keep the café running as a tribute to your grandfather, but you have no idea as to where to start. That's when a school gets in touch with you and asks if you are willing to host some trainees who have some experience in running a café. You take the offer without much hesitation. To your surprise, however, the trainees are not four humans but four humanoid cats! Humanoid cat workers aren’t that rare these days, but this is still your first interacting with one. And thus, your story begins as you work alongside four catboys!

Sweet and Short!
It definitely surprised me on how short each route was, I finished the entire game in less than a day. It was also shocking on how you don’t really have choices to choose for a route, but that’s part of its uniqueness! Even though it was short, it was quite cute! Some of the characters seemed somewhat stereotypical in a way but definitely shifted their stereotypes in different ways too. This game is a type of game that should be played for someone who has some short freetime to sit down and play something this enjoyable. This game is not a type to be used for such a short while, such as a month or more if you want to go through a long story and routes. This game made me smile and I felt a connection in such little game time. I do recommend this game if you just feel bored and maybe have a couple minutes or so to spare!

It’s like a story not a game
There are no options for dialogue in this game. The only choice you get is to choice the route you want to go on. But I wouldn’t call this a game it’s more of a story tbh. I played a lot of otome games in my lifetime but this isn’t it in my opinion. If you want a story this is for you, if you want a game, this isn’t it. Story line very cliché but cute I give an 5/10, the artwork is good, liked the voice acting through the entirety of it. Doesn’t have no definite ending at all it just ends right in the middle of the story. We hardly get to know them at all. They give a tiny description in the beginning and that’s kinda it. There’s hardly and character development cause of how short it is. There isn’t really anything going on in this app. I was expecting more of a game (storyline, getting to know the characters, character development, choices, an actual ending, etc.) Like there isn’t barely any element of a otome game in this app. It’s not even a game at all. I’m extremely disappointed in this app. I played 2/4 routes then got bored and couldn’t finish the rest of the routes cause of how boring this is. I literally sat there on auto and just kept tapping the screen so it wouldn’t fall asleep. Literally I sat there and did nothing. This isn’t a game. The only reason this has 2 stars is because of the voice acting throughout the game. I honestly don’t know how this app has a 4.7 star rating.

Cute game so far!!
Was pretty excited to start this game because... Catboys.. and the art is very nice, the voice acting is amazing and it’s super cute. However i’m a guy, and having to read “girl/mistress/she/her” over and over again is frustrating. But I do understand it is an otome game, and it’s catered towards women. I think you should be able to pick your gender from the start, then the lines and art should reflect which gender you get to choose. But this game is really cute and well made!! I was also expecting more options to be able to choose how you want to reply to their questions instead of you just having one set personality. This is what is making the game a bit lifeless. The player should be able to project themselves onto the MC but it just feels like i’m playing as someone else when the whole point is for it to be you as the main character. So as improvements i’d really like to see: 1) choosing your gender at the beginning so they refer to you as that and then 2) adding choices to what to say or do to them (example: i could refuse to pat their head or i could choose to pat it, these would either give me affection points or dislike points)thank you to the artists and seiyuus for the great content!

Short but enjoyable
The characters are well written imo, have cute designs, and quirky personalities. It’s a pretty short game only taking me around 10 hours to finish and the only choice you get to make is picking routes, but still was able to enjoy it since the writing of this game is great! The cast of voice actors is amazing too !! Was a bit disappointed since I was expecting something similar to the other Nekopara games. Nonetheless,the game has a simple gameplay since you don’t really do much but sit and enjoy the story! I will say it is totally not for everyone but If you love nekos and have had 0 human interaction in months I hugely recommend! I really hope that in the future we’ll see a full game version of this game cause I think it really has potential and I would buy in a heartbeat

I really wanted to like it… didn’t 😞
It’s purely a personal preference but I couldn’t even get past the beginning. The characters, mostly the white haired guy, were annoying. No respect for boundaries; using the excuse that they’re catboys absolutely doesn’t excuse it. The MC was spineless and let them do whatever they want even though she’s supposed to be their employer. I don’t hate physically affectionate characters but in this case it really got under my skin. We didn’t even get to learn the guys name or our MC’s backstory before he’s literally on top of us. Then he, a complete stranger, sneaks in our room and forces his way into our bed the first night😤 Absolutely not, it’s not charming or cute it’s downright gross and completely disrespectful🤢They would have gotten fired before they even started, back to the cat boy academy you go cause they clearly forgot to teach them common decency 🙄Only reason a gave three stars was because the game quality was great, too bad the story & characters weren’t 😞

It's a decent game
Although I can't really comment on the story, I can say the art is absolutely fantastic. I also got pretty attached to the characters fairly early on. I won't spoil anything but one of the cgi made me go "awwwwwwww, that's so cute." The save and load system was nice and I liked how short it was. My only qualm was that I barely get to make any decisions and it felt more like I was reading a novel whose only goal is to provide fan service, but then again I'm probably not that far off. All in all, as someone who's usually too lazy to actually play any otome games, this was pretty nice to play. (p.s. Thank you whoever drew the art, it was fantastic and I screenshotted the heck out of the game.)

Amazing game!
Positive: it’s an amazing game to play,I really like the storyline and the character design and how I’m running a cafe with cat boys. This game caught my eye since I’m a cat lover an I absolutely love anything cat wise!
Negative:the only bad thing here is…it didn’t let me go to the next story. I’m not sure I’m it’s one a day or something but I can’t go to the next/last two stories I’m on. I just finished Laurier’s story and I was just about to go onto Fennel’s story. Once it loaded the continue button was grey meaning I couldn’t click it.
I’m not really sure what happened but I would like a fix,please and thank you!

I FINISHED IT IN ONE NIGHT??????
so story time, I was feeling sad and lonely because of spring break I literally have no friends. I was on the App Store looking for ways to soothe my hunger. Then I literally saw a literal catboy and was intrigued. I downloaded it without thinking or reading the reviews. I sat in anticipation for it to finish downloading. When the download was complete I plunged myself into somthing that could possibly ruin my gaming life forever. My first otome visual novel. Now it is 6:00 and I just finished sages route. I wasted my night on Catboys and am going on to the next paradise of otome. We’ll see you then. (Ohshc ref)

No sound
I stared the game and when I had stared it up there was no sound I didn’t think much of it at first but nothings working for the sound portion of the game non of the voice acting no background music no this so I went to the settings and I tried Turing stuff up and down but nothings working for it and there’s nothing saying that people might have trouble with the sound and i can’t find any reviews talking about it ether i deleted and redownloaded the game but it still didn’t work it’s a really good game it’s written well and the characters are adorable I just wished that I could here the background music and voice acting

Awesome but frequent crashing
I love the game & it’s interesting to see that it doesn’t have multiple choice for dialogue to progress in the story. But it is quite bothersome for it to frequently crash especially when you are a quick reader like myself. And I have to frequently save the story in each new save file for each cat. And I find it odd that it seems like the story is incomplete but it finishes after you discover something new about each cat. I hope that there will be a continuation instead of it abruptly stopping like that.
