Netvue Hack 5.24.2 + Redeem Codes

I love the camera when it works, but it’s 50/50 in picking up people and movement. Half the time the mailman is identified and the other half the camera doesn’t record him. Wish there was a focus to set the distance we need. Same with people walking in front of the house. A couple of days ago, 2 adults walking their medium-sized dog was not identified, but bugs and flies are recorded every 5 minutes, probably due to their proximity to the camera. However, it will pick up a vehicle passing on the street beyond the entrance to our block-long cul d’sac.

The only reliable way is see if there was anyone in our yard is to do playback and then I have to move it 3 seconds ahead manually or see it in real time. Wish there was a fast forward.

Also, the speaker is very slow to respond and visitors are out of the driveway by the time my voice can be heard.

We use this app with the Birdyfy bird feeder. The camera connection is easy and we have two feeders. The one in the backyard is about 50’ from our cbs house and has a strong connection signal. The one in the front which is only about 16’ from a window was a medium signal until I moved the antenna down to horizontal , now it signal is strong and the antenna has become a perch. The app has a cooldown time that we set to 1 hour because all the bird notifications were to frequent. The picture quality is great. I have not had this app crash and have been using it for about 10 months. My only request would be to add a motion filter allowing us to adjust the distance past the feeder to be ignored. I’m very happy with the app and feeder.

My grandpa got one for a bird feeder. It works really well. It can even identify each bird. There have been a couple problems tho. One problem is that if the wind blows to hard it thinks there is a bird. But that is not the worst problem. Idk if this is my phone or the app. But I am pretty sure it is the app. Whenever I open the app everything on my phone gets really quiet. When I am texting and you can usually hear the click of the keys. But once I open the app I can barely hear the click of the keys. I have to completely restart my phone to hear everything again. Plz fix this problem.

The hardware works fine. The trouble comes from the app. If I open the camera for a live view of the room, the app ignores my mute switch, ignores the volume all the way down and starts blaring the room sound at a ridiculously loud volume. Need to turn it down? Too bad! It ignores all volume controls on the phone. I have to close the app to make it stop. Today, the app started broadcasting loud sound without the app even open. Thanks.... my coworkers got a kick out of listening to my kid singing JINGLE BELLS JINGLE BELLS at a bazillion decibels.

I have a fast connection and a top of the line WiFi router. Talking through the app doesn’t work at all. People in the room hear garbled sound if anything. You think the basic features would at least work a little. They need to fire the people who made this garbage app and start over because it’s only slightly better than worthless.

I bought a Netvue camera to use as a baby monitor. I have a lot of problems with it.

First, the video gets super delayed. Sometimes by a minute or two. So I’ll be looking at my baby on the monitor sleeping soundly but in reality he’s crying in his crib and I won’t realize it for quite a while.

Second, the app doesn’t use two factor authentication so literally any hacker who guesses my password could spy in on my baby, my wife nursing, or anything else going on in that room. I have a pretty complex password, so it’s not a huge deal, but it’s still a risk.

Third, the app doesn’t support background video, so I have to keep it full screen in order to monitor my baby. So I can’t use my iPad for anything else while my baby is napping.

Fourth, it has a really annoying bug with screen rotation. Whenever you first open the video feed, it launches in portrait orientation regardless of the orientation of your device. If you want to get it to switch to landscape, which is obviously the preferable orientation since it gives you a full view of the camera, you have to turn your device into portrait orientation, and then BACK to landscape orientation, to get it to display and landscape orientation.

This app is pretty straight forward and easy to use. However, I have a bit of trouble turning the camera up and down through the app. Left and right works fine. The notifications & history also stopped updating at night...not sure it's because it's having difficulty detecting motion with its night vision or if they programmed it to not bother you past a certain time. Overall, a pretty good app, they just need to fix these small issues and maybe include some FAQs/troubleshooting on their instructions manual.

The record button on the app crashes it every time you stop a recording. Every single time. At first I thought it was a one off so I restarted the app, then my phone, then I deleted the app and redownloaded. I made sure it was up to date. Everything I could think of but still no luck. You can press record and it’s fine. But the second you press the button again to stop the app will crash. It’s a bummer because I bought this for birding in my back yard and the only way to capture a video of the birds is by doing a screen recording from the phone which is really not ideal. I’ve noticed a few other reviews saying the same. Please fix this Netvue team and I’ll gladly change my review.

I am so delighted with my new hummingbird feeder attachment. I ordered it and received it within 24 hours. It is the perfect size and made very well of durable material that is sturdy for other birds to still feed from the feeder. It holds a very good amount of nectar 541 ml capacity. It is easy to use and clean and refill. I did a pre-set up and it is very easy to install. There are anti-any and anti-bee spout protectors. I am so excited to attract the hummingbirds when the seasons change as I live in an area that currently has snow.

Updated review. The Birdfy feeder/camera/solar panel and connection to wi-fi beats Bird Buddy and I give five ⭐️s for those Birdfy elements. We’ll done! We thoroughly enjoy viewing the many visitors.

The one issue that is weak is the bird identification feature which struggles, as an example, to distinguish between a morning dove and a house finch. One can report misidentification but it appears the AI struggles to correct itself days or weeks later.

If we were to go with a security camera setup Netvue would be a first stop.

This review is for the Netvue Birdfeeder.
1: The feeder come with a mounting option only, nothing to hang the feeder. I had to design and build a contraption so I could hang the feeder, only to thwart the squirrels. Mounting a bird feeder to a post or fence is just an invitation to squirrels. FYI nearly ALL bird feeders hang! Duh
2: No full screen option for play back/recordings. So dumb full screen isn’t an option. Full screen is available for live viewing?!!? What’s up with that.
3: the battery life is not optimal at all
4: the recordings are blurry for anything in the distance.
5: The camera loses connection when the battery runs down, then connecting the app requires pressing the setup button. It’s a stupid annoying process! What gives

This was a great ft from my daughters so I’m sticking with it. If I bought it would have been returned immediately.
