Description
NeuRA Trails is an adaptation of the Trail Making Test.
The Trail Making Test is a neuropsychological test of visual attention and task switching. It can provide information about visual search speed, scanning, speed of processing, mental flexibility, as well as executive functioning. It is also sensitive to detect several cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia.
NeuRA Trails automates the process of collecting results, timing and error checking. It facilitates quick and accurate testing of participants. All results are saved on the iPad and can be emailed to an assessor's computer via the Manage Results button on the app home screen. Be sure to read the instructions on the Begin Test page before you begin testing as they give some helpful hints and a background to the trail making test.
