We’ve improved the music selector to better display available songs to apply to your film. Nizo displays songs on your device, followed by songs on the cloud. Nizo is unable to use Apple Music.

Cloud icon: download the song to your device, via Apple Music
Lock icon: the song is DRM protected, Nizo is unable to use

Tip! Long-press the waveform and scrub left or right for fine control of your sound selection. Long-pressing the left needle previews the start point, while long-pressing the right needle previews the end.

PostMinimalism,
Iconic Design
Nizo rethinks filmmaking to spectacular results. The interface embraces gestures, is super clean and works beautifully. You navigate your timeline within one space, tapping to open and swiping to close modes. Simple, fast and intuitive.

Clips are massive, which is a huge advantage as you can visually see your narrative at a glance, video playback is the best you’ll see, and the manual camera controls are superb.

I’d like to see more control at a clip level - currently Nizo opts for a simple mic, audio, transition for the entire movie. However Nizo is more than powerful enough to create a compelling film, as seen with the incredible films created with the app.
De'Andre Bush,
Dope concept (VISQ)
As with any new program, Nizo challenges you to learn non-linear editing as if you were cutting frames. After a few takes, you can seamlessly begin to understand the program. It comes with a set of presets and ability to add audio to different “frames of takes”.

Of course, it’s not without faults. It’s not perfect but there is ton of room for it to grow. Once they update and add more transitions, color grading abilities and other feature that desktop applications have, it’ll be a wonderful tool for young filmmakers who have a smart phone; to be able to Starr shooting ideas they have.

Innovative and Inspiring!
Nizo has become my favourite filmmaking app. It’s so easy to use, the films are expertly curated, and the design is outstanding. The app is a radical step forward not just in film creation but in surfacing new and exciting artists. The design is beautiful, interactions are intuitive and responsive, yet these details feel invisible, allowing your film to have the spotlight. It’s the first filmmaking tool that’s innovated and it’s changed the way I make films. I also commended the creators for their efforts supporting artists. I highly recommended Nizo to anyone either pursuing filmmaking or enjoys the observation of different ideas and styles.

Easy; Seriously Convenient
Nizo is definitely one of the apps that needs to be in any video hobbyists arsenal. Very elegant and easy to use, it shows that a video editor doesn’t have to be as complicated as they usually are.

Looking forward to updates of the app that I know will make this an even more formidable tool.

People behind this project are very responsive on the support side, which is always a plus when one seeks questions answered, and that just makes this product an even better purchase decision than most of its rivals. If there are any.
egoheads,
minimal but powerful
I have tried a lot of video apps but Nizo has become my favorite. it has just enough filters for options to create the desired mood without triggering "filter overload" and recording in 24 FPS adds to the cinematic feel of the recordings. the app is minimal but has the controls you need. It allows you to concentrate on what you are filming and not the app interface. in short, the app has the ease of a point and shoot camera with the ability to change filters with a flick of the finger. great job

Elegant and Intuitive
The app has a beautifully designed UI. It’s minimal and very easy to use but not lacking features. I love the ability of being able to manually control frame rate, ISO and shutter. My favorite feature by far are the classic film looks that are built in, combine that with the 24fps feature, you can really create some nice classic aesthetics. Overall, a really great and fun app for on-the-go filmmakers. I’m looking forward to future updates with more more film looks and the ability to add text and titles. 👍

An App I Cannot Live Without
A close friend recommended NIZO to me about two years back. This app has been perfected for both beginners interested in working in film and professionals. Each feature and editing tool is exceptional, easy to navigate and the format of the app makes the process seamless. I’m still in disbelief NIZO has the capability to produce this quality of work from an iPhone’s camera lens!
nordical,
Nice video app, disappointing content
The video creation portion of the app is well done, easy enough to use, nice minimal design. However there is a content section and it appears that the developers have preloaded it with fashion/art content that exclusively features young women. One video is topless even, and it just feels very unnecessary and insensitive to put that content in front of every user. Am I to expect that this app is just meant for the creation and consumption of this kind of video content? I understand that it's art, but this feels like the work of a bunch of men. Come on guys.
Mia Burns,
Film High Quality Videos on Your iPhone
I first heard of Nizo after one of my favorite musicians, Jack Ladder appeared in a music video via this amazing app.

Nizo is user friendly and I’m not a professional filmmaker, but the app allows me to create clear videos on my iPhone. I tend to film most of what I cook so guess what’s next for me and Nizo?

I’ve Been Waiting For This App!
So often I’ve wished that the default camera app was more like this one. I’ve looked for alternatives to no avail until now. This is definitely my go to app for videos now. Beautiful design and intuitive interface too. I’ll be telling all of my filmmaker friends about this one.
