Description
This being the first version, we have some explaining to do.
First, we hope that NoBueno brings an end to the overly cumbersome and outdated ways of growing your professional network. We want you to never, ever look for a job again. Period.
Second, let’s talk about our name, NoBueno. Although we love the Latin culture, we’re not of Spanish origin and we simply love what it implies and how it sounds. And yes, we know that it’s grammatically incorrect, but it just felt right.
Here’s the idea.
All the innovations out there still base their process on broken fundamentals. Job descriptions are tweaked rips from online templates, CVs and resumes over embellish everything to then suit the search and people still have huge and unwarranted biases. So, we sat in a room and wrote out the following list of objectives. Our solution must have;
1) No job descriptions
2) No CVs or resumes
3) No racial bias on either side
4) No gender bias on either side
5) No fees
And so, if you don’t have a job then that’s “NoBueno” and where the name came from. The honest realization that the system is no good, and that having no job is no good either. Hence, NoBueno.
Freelance, part-time or full-time, people should never look for a job ever again. Human Capital is EVERYTHING and having access to your worth should be your right. Leveling the playing field and giving everyone a chance to earn what they’re worth. In fact, whether you’re looking for a job or just want to know your current market worth, NoBueno was designed for everyone looking to get what they deserve. Set up your profile, answer questions, add your requirements and set your match rates to instantly know your worth and/or get matched to relevant opportunities. It’s easy and free, forever.
Things you should know:
1) We keep everything anonymous until you accept to be matched with an opportunity. No names, pictures or anything.
2) Even if you’re not looking to be matched to an opportunity you can just know what your estimated market worth is on the market (assuming there are enough opportunities out there to determine a fair average).
3) Get matched based on multiple things. The basics including location, experience, compensation, and technical skills, but we also incorporate your values, personality and soft skills too.
4) You decide the weights of how important your technical skills, values & personality and soft skills are in matching you to opportunities.
5) You can adjust everything at any time. The more you keep it up to date, the more relevant the matches will be.
6) Once matched, you chat directly with the recruiters and it’s all in your hands now.
Go for it!
