Has potential
The noise meter works well. If you can give user the ability to control the background music & alarm separately, it would be great because the music isn't loud enough for the classroom to hear. Also, when the classroom is very noisy, you can't hear the alarm. I downloaded app on IPAD too, but still not loud enough. I bought a portable blue tooth speaker thinking that it would play the music louder but it didn't because there is no way to make the background music louder. The speaker just made the alarm noise louder.

Good app for classroom
The app itself is a good tool for the classroom. My only complaint is that it stops the first time the buzzer is set off. I give my preschoolers three tries before they need to find a new quieter activity. Also it seems to turn off when the screen is off so it flys through battery. Could use some improvements but still the best noise app I've found so far.

I was so excited to use this app in my classroom. As I have a very chatty group. The alarm feature was what made me download the app. Well presentation day came. I showed student the meter and how it works. Of course during, class work time students began to be very chatty and loud. The app was reading and recording when sounds were above level but never heard an alarm. It drained my battery because I had it running in the background, hoping to hear alarms. Very disappointed! Even worse I accidental purchased “pro” version. Money wasted.

Works well minus 1 thing
I would give this 5 stars but every time I try to play back whatever sound made the alarm go off, the whole app shuts off. If that could be fixed that would be awesome.

Gets High Schoolers Quiet!
As a high school sub, I felt like I was always trying to get the teens I watch to quiet down so they don't disturb the classes next door. I tried out this app, and it worked perfectly! The students hate the sound of the alarm and seem to make it a goal not to make it go off. They thought the app was really awesome though, and of course I like it because I don't have to yell as often. I really love the added classroom management it gives me, but I do wish I didn't have to leave it up and running on screen. I will say at least it doesn't take too much of my battery life away. Still had 30% at the end of the day (iPhone 5c).

Given up--ZERO stars
I would have given this app 0 stars if I could. Why? Because the app developers have obviously given up on the app. It should just be removed. I needed something like this (and the description was the ONLY ONE that fit what I needed) but it never opened after downloading. I checked the reviews and sure enough, it's a common problem for the last several months. I went to the app developer's website and contacted them through there about the problem and NEVER heard back. It's a waste of time people. Obviously the app developers have given up on this app (last update was in 2014!!) and so we should give up too.

Good idea, but missing some key features
For starters, having only three alarm tones isn't enough. The app needs a much larger variety or, better yet, the capability for users to add their own alarm tones. Second, the tone setting doesn't stay changed once you leave the screen - it just goes back to the default. Major bug. Finally, the app won't stop the phone from going to sleep. Major fail. Get these issues fixed quickly, and I'll change my review.

Please add a feature that it stops measuring after the first alarm.
By the time it start the alarm till I can disable it, it alarms several time which is annoying.
I snore while sleeping so I use this app in quiet public pleases to wake me up as soon as I start snoring. Lol.

Stopped working
What happened?! As another reviewer recently stated, when I open the app I see a picture, then it crashes. Used this a couple of times at the start of the school year and it worked wonders for my 3rd graders....now, I have to resort to psyching them out a bit and using my iPhone alarm sounds when their voice level gets a little high. Just not the same....too bad. Off to find another app that actually works.
