It is meh
Hello like other people say this is a great app but not what I expected so when I first got on I was so exited but when I started playing it gave me notes that I was unsure what they were because I was a beginner and it did not explain it all that well and another thing is I typed on free and this came up and it turns out it is not it limits you on how long you are aloud to play a day and I was upset because I would have played way longer but like I said it is a really great app just hope you work out a few things out thank you.

It’s okay
I am new at piano and found this app and saw that the reviews were great and decided to download it. When I went on and tried out the app it didn’t work as well as I thought it would have. It wouldn’t pick up the notes on some of the keys that it was telling me to play and I was but it wasn’t picking up the sound. I tried turning the sound up on my piano but it still would not pick up the note. And as a beginner I don't 100% know where all the keys are and I didn’t tell you were it was moving to. So one minute we would be in one spot then it would move and I would have to press different keys to try to get the same key that was shown to play. The if none of them worked on one side I would go to the other side to try to find the key but it wouldn’t pick up any sound which makes it difficult. The app also doesn’t pick up the right key sound. I will play the right on but it will say it’s another. Then I play the wrong one and it’s right. And I know that the one I say it right and not wrong it because the one I play before is right and the next one is right next to it not across the keyboard.

Amazing
I love note coach it is an amazing piano game it gives you free learning the lady at my school who teaches it charges 80 bucks a month so I really like this game and it’s a good teacher but I would recommend one thing I think it’s full on five stars but when you go onto it you want to say that you’re a beginner even if you’re not because it will give you more options that way and then It will lead you up all the way to being a superstar so just say you’re a beginner on it and whatever piano you have you just write that and if you don’t have a piano it’ll let you do it on the gameand I just really think this is an awesome game you should get it

Great app! But some issues.
I love Notecoach. But sometimes it does not hear the note I play. This could also be a issue on my end, seeing that my iPad is a little older. But overall, great app. I love the fact there is no pay wall unlike like all the other apps I’ve tried. 9/10!
Edit: It could also be that my iPad microphone is not as good as when I first got it. Love the app though!

It simply just makes no sense
Basically I’m trying to learn the keyboard So I downloaded this app but then I’m starting the app and it’s giving me complicated stuff that I don’t know it’s for example it’s telling me to put both of my hands were they meet at middle C but they never tell me where middle C is so that is necessary to fix And also you could track my voice and then he thinks that my voice is the piano or keyboard basically which that’s a problem but overall the app just needs to be fixed and I don’t like it because it’s not really teaching me well then I don’t know why there’s 4.5 out of five kind of doesn’t make sense for an app with this many bugs and necessary things that they don’t have.

As someone who used to be able to play piano, I have so far found this app very useful. Different lessons with accompanying exercises really help with note recognition and placement. If you have a keyboard, however, you may find that the apps real piano mode doesn’t quite pick up the sound like it should. Turn up the volume one mode until your device picks it up. Otherwise, great app and very well set up

Replay the lessons
I liked the lessons. What I can’t understand is why can’t I go back and replay the lessons I already completed For practice. I chose the free mode instead of paying $6 a month. If I already did the lessons for the day I should be able to go back and replay as many times as I want. I’m old. I need the practice and I have the time to practice and the desire.

Middle B
I only just downloaded this app, and so far it’s really great, especially for me, being that I’m trying to get better and quicker with my sight reading, my only issue is that the program doesn’t register any note higher than a middle b on my keyboard, therefore I can’t continue a lot of the lessons. If that gets fixed in the near future, it would deserve 5 stars. So, only 4 stars for me until then.

Like I was very amazed when I first saw the app and I played it I was so amazed all those smarts were in my brain I cannot believe I can play it so good and thank you for making this app it’s very very good everything was changed in my mind for real though it’s so so so good I would never ever leave this app👦🏾😘😇🤓🤩

One major issue
This is the only free piano lesson app in the entire App Store, which is incredibly important, granted my family and I aren't doing fantastic on money. It teaches really well and goes at a pace that's perfect for me. One huge problem is that the mic doesn't register anything higher that a middle B, which is really bad for obvious reasons. However, should that issue be fixed, this would be more of a 10 star.
