Body fat
Could be lots better. Has lots of food items. My biggest problem is I have 12% body fat but it won't allow me to record anything less than 14. Keeps saying it's not a valid body fat

I truly enjoy this app. I’ve had it for years now since I started my fitness journey. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking advice on nutrition/ macros. Creator is very knowledgeable & humble. Week 1 Review
I've been using My Fitness Pal for quite some time and decided to look into another app as I didn't feel my macro count was correct on my fitness pal. This is my first week using it and I've noticed there are distinct changes between this and My Fitness Pal. Many of my girlfriends use My Fitness Pal which I do feel is more user friendly, but I feel Nutritionist is more effective, here's why:

1) Calculations (calorie intake & macros) are much more accurate vs My Fitness Pal. I had to manually calculate caloric intake and macro and then adjust it on my fitness pal. When I cross referenced, nutritionist app was much closer.

2) Nutritionist has lots of helpful information.

3) Theres the option to select if you have an "off day" vs working out light-moderate or heavy which would change your calorie/macro count vs My Fitness Pal.

Only drawbacks are that 1) when you change your meal consumption settings because say I decided to work out and had an extra meal afterwards, then everything you've logged in gets erased. 2) The way in which the algorithm was setup for this app doesn't allow for some foods to come up. The search criteria should be broadened. Additionally, My Fitness Pal's search results do appear do pop up quicker and are easier on the eyes vs getting over 15 results for "raw baby carrots".

I'm hoping with this review the fee kinks can be sorted out as I'd like to continue using it and spread the word! I will do another review in about 4 weeks.

Crashes when I scan
It doesn’t have the extensive food list that my fitness pal has. I like that it breaks down your macros according to your activity level for that day. Don’t think I’ll be using it again until the meal tracker improves.

The Nutritionist Delivers & Exceeds Expectations...A must have for the Serious Goal Oriented Trainee
As an avid gym-goer I was filled with enthusiasm in anticipation of the release of this app and it does not disappoint. It is well put together with a user friendly graphical user interface. I've used many of the popular nutrition apps out there and this one has already exceeded my expectations. Most notably, where other applications lack the ability to tailor a program to your specific physique goals this one hits a bullseye with tailored tips, measurements and the ability to refine as you go along. The database is extensive and everything I looked for I was able to add without any problem. I'm looking forward to using this in conjunction with my training program to meet my transformation goals more quickly. Two Thumbs Up!

Fantastic App!
I started using this app several months back and it was easy right off the get go. If you want to lose fat or put on lean mass this app gives you what you need to follow your daily macro intake. Of course you need to put in the work at the gym and stay consistent...it won't do that for you. I've done both the lean mass program and the fat loss program and would see results as long as the consistency was there! It has helped me learn so much about macronutrients and how to live a balanced life when it comes to my diet...not to mention the creator of this app, Kelechi Opara, gives awesome feedback and answers your questions if you have any. I recommend this app to anyone that is looking to improve their lifestyle and willing to put in the time to weigh their food and count the macronutrients you are putting into your body on a daily basis!

Love this app!
I've been using this app for about two weeks now and I love it! It's been so helpful for keeping track of my macros, and weight loss. It's really fun to use as well! My only small issues with it is that you have to be extremely specific when searching for foods, and the scanner doesn't generally pull things up too often for me, also when imputing in the nutritional data of packaged foods such as protein bars, it will often say the calories are much higher than what the package says, so it won't accurately go into the database; the calories will be much higher. These are super small issues to me (considering i still give it 5 stars!) for how awesome the app is overall, I'd been using the my fitness pal app for forever and nutritionist is a much more thorough way to track

Without a doubt the best out there
I've tried several of the fitness and nutrition apps on the iPhone and this is the only one I've kept. Within 7 days of paying attention to the diet program I've dropped body fat (12% to 8%) and I'm more cut than I've been in years. The create a recipe and custom food programs are perfect if you make your own meals or if you need to put in the nutrition content of food you eat often. This program is no bs, it works. Ignore the negative reviews because they obviously have no idea that we have this wonderful thing called the Internet available to them to find calorie info if the app hasn't heard of the food they are eating. This app is one of the best tools to build a better body BUT IT WILL NOT cook, workout or make life decisions for you.

Swiss Army Knife of Nutritional Applications
Whether you're a competitive bodybuilder, weekend warrior, or just looking to maintain, this app can do it all.

I've been using the app side August of 2013 and since beginning usage I've added 22lbs of lean muscle while getting down to 6% body fat and placing in my first natural physique show.

This app can help you cycle your carbs for days when you need more energy based on your activity, it can help lower your body fat just by hitting your macro numbers each day, and best of all the app is autonomous.

What I mean by that is that the app knows how quickly you should be gaining/losing muscle/body fat. If you're losing too quickly it will self adjust, if you're gaining to quickly it will do the same. The only thing you have to do is update your weight twice a week and it does the rest.

I will never use another nutritional application and I will continue to tell everyone I know to use it.
