I was having a good day in school then one day I had to take a test on the app time stopped my teacher didn’t move nor did my classmates everything was grey then the students turned to me with black holes in their eyes a sharp sickening crack happened as their necks broke then they stood up bugs were flying out of their eyes maggots hopping onto the ground flies flying into me mosquitos biting I tried to run but I was stuck stuck in a viscous honey like goop as the bugs sting and bit me burying themselves deep into my flesh as I tried to move but I couldn’t bugs came out of my eyes as I felt myself losing will to become one of these sickening monsters my classmates reached me and they beat me hitting kicking brutalizing me until I had resisted enough and prayed prayed to god who did not answer then I prayed to myself and managed to move I went home time started and then I saw this app laying in bed with my mom coated in white sticky substance : (

My child took the MAP Growth Reading Assessment for 2nd grade. Why would a test meant for a second grade level reader ask questions at High School and even College level standards?! I understand jumping up a grade level, but the vocabulary and content of the questions would never be considered within the range of an elementary school level and will do nothing to show my child’s progress or reading comprehension level.
Other issues we had were there was no set number of questions. My second grade student nor I had any idea when the test would be over. Which really did nothing for morale.
You only have 15 minutes to answer, which I initially thought wouldn’t be an issue. How wrong I was. Practically every question was a long story that was clearly beyond a young readers capability and attention span and we were given 45 of these questions. Insanity.

First off, I understand the idea that this is a test and all and that is not completely why I dislike it. There are a few other problems baked within the website/app. First off, the reading paragraph sections are all jank. They give you this whole 10 paragraph reading section to look through even though the questions only are from 1 or 2 of them. It can feel overwhelming or confusing to a lot of people that then feel the need to check all the paragraphs each time when they don’t need too! Also, about the app lock thing, it is annoying but it did not lock me out for 6 hours after the test was over or anything like that. Finally, I am not a big fan of how most schools use this one test to place you in the next grade. Ideally they should be monitoring your progress all throughout the year.

The app on its own is fine. My whole childhood has been tied to his app and the day we would take it. Most of the kids were happy since it took out from out math time. Now it’s a good testing system and I like how you can suspend the test if more time is needed. It also gives honest scores and even the Lexile.

My main problem are the practice test. The new school year is about to start and I need to see if I should be placed in ALP reading class. When I took the practice test, it only gave about 3 question which in my opinion, would not make a child ready for the test. I thought to choose 7th grade and get new questions. However, I was greeted with the exact same questions. I even tried 8th and the questions didn’t change. What I’m trying to say is try and add more practice questions to the app. Thanks.

This app so easy. I am in first grade and did 169 questions in 3 minutes with 100 perfect accuracy. I finished faster than me with my hot girlfriend! This app only gives up to Harvard level questions can you believe it! They don’t even test on multiversal physics CD and post-calculus. What a disgrace for an app if these problems are so easy. They don’t even make us prove the collatz conjecture so how am I supposed to learn. Honestly this app should go into a hole and never come out. Even my retarded autistic Down syndrome friend said it was easy. I could go start a business and have sex with my wife during the time it takes for me to download this trash app. Don’t download this app or else it will make you a greasy fat McDonald’s worker and your dad will leave you.

I wonder how many of these are troll reviews? Anyways, it’s an ok app, but on pc I have to turn down my resolution which is a pain, I don’t see why I have to do this though. My only other problems are that most of the stuff you don’t even know, which really stresses my out because I don’t know if I should know this stuff. Also, I wish that on the reading tests, some of the passages were from newer books, because they are so boring that I start daydreaming and have a hard time focusing, resulting me in getting low scores and getting stressed. I think that if the passages were less boring, my scores would go up by at least 10 points. Other than that, good overall app.

I’ve taken MAPS testing with this app multiple times. Despite the fact that I do have bias towards this app because I’m an unwilling student, I’ll rate this app rationally. First of all, this app makes you lock it. That means you can’t access any other apps during the test and you can’t even look at the time. Second, you don’t know how many questions there are. When you get to the 40 question mark, it may end or it may go on for 30 more questions. This just brings on more anxiety for students, and even give them a sense that they need to rush themselves to get it over with. It really isn’t the best app in my opinion.

People are saying “This app have me Corona!” But thats not true at all. I was in a good mood because of this app, when you finish the test there is a bit of satisfaction. I don’t see a reason to hate the app, sure the test can get super hard but the whole point is to check your growth. I don’t see a reason to fall in love with the app either, but it’s a good app overall. People say it’s boring, but again. It’s a test. Not a game! I didn’t have any lag doing this test and I would recommend to schools every once a quarter. So yeah download it if you want I guess.

I am a student at Harvard university and I have take this test multiple of reasonable times the app itself is very productive and quizzical. Yes good app 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

1 it is a great platform great for idiot children and brainless people
2. It helps you grow to be a successful person like me even you can work with presidents
3. It helps you not become a common social study teacher with a fat belly and white beard
