Description

OceanDMX Underwater LED Lighting Control, by OceanLED

Take control of your OceanLED Colours underwater lights via your iOS or Android device.

With the new OceanDMX App for Android and iOS by OceanLED, you have all the control and customisation you need to create any scene or light display you wish, with full control over sensitivity, speed and brightness.

Choose between standard static, cycle or strobe modes. Alternatively, use audio or wave motion modes to control the colour scheme of your choice.

The OceanDMX App has been custom designed with an easy to use menu structure for use solely with the new OceanDMX Controller, which transmits its own unique WiFi network for your mobile device to connect with.

To use audio control, simply attach your vessels sound system to the DMX controller via a standard audio jack. In wave motion mode, you can create a dramatic display whilst on the move upon wave impact.

Capt850,
Doesn’t work half the time
I’ve had so many problems with this app, several installs this past year. Phone shows connected to the Wi-Fi but an app fails to load every time. Support states to do a reset, turn on and off the Wi-Fi, close and open the app. Hasn’t been the best. I feel it has something to do with the app last update version was five years ago.
Whiplash II,
Ocean LED stinks
I own a 50 Hatteras with these lights. I can’t stand them. The app is terrible. I got a new phone and can’t get the app to connect with the WiFi. My sons old I phone still connects. No support and totally frustrated that I can only turn on $10k worth of lights using an I phone that won’t connect with the WI-FI
Kenny2012,
No connection to WiFi when there is a clear connection
Trying to troubleshoot a customer’s OceanLED underwater light for his boat and when I try to establish a WiFi connection it will connect but when I open the OceanLED app it states that there is no connection.
Mrob12345,
Good start, but improvements needed
First, the app and the idea behind it are good, but after than, it goes down hill.

I spent about $9,000.00 on lights for my boat and went with oceanled because they are regarded as the best.

This app needs work to get it anywhere near near being called the best.

First, when you use the app, you cannot do any other internet enabled things on your phone. By connecting with wifi, the phone can't stream music, which is the main thing I want to do when boating and running the lights.

Second, the color wheel is HORRIBLE. You can't get to any of the colors you want. The wheel is too small and getting to an actual color aside from red, green or blue is just nearly impossible. Just make it like the old rgb remotes, give us 12-18 colored circles to chose a specific color.

Third, give us a 7 color fade button!!! This is so nice and almost every other rgb remote does this. The app is just too complex but really doesn't do anything that the user wants or needs

My friends with a cheap Chinese $12.00 controller have better options and simplicity than my $2,000.00 controller

These few software changes would make it SO much better
