Octopus is the first icon-based watch that empowers kids by teaching good habits and the concept of time.
It is the only watch that young children can read and understand. It links time to event, thru icons. The Octopus watch growths with the kid. You can select different clock faces (icons, digital, analog) for instance.

As a parent, you can create daily routines on your smartphone for what tasks you want your children to assimilate and to accomplish like to brush their teeth in the morning, to feed their fish or to complete a chore. (700+ icons to choose from).
The schedule is pushed to the watch over bluetooth. (Then bluetooth is turned off so that your child is not exposed to radio frequencies).
When a reminder pops up, thru an icon and gentle vibrations, the child knows that they have to accomplish a task. Little by little it becomes a good habit.
We are also working on an optional gamification feature to make the habit forming experience feels more like a game.

These watches have been wonderful for keeping a schedule in kids’ minds without needing to remind them. My kids love the icons and having the independence to follow their own routine.
I bought these watches for my two older homeschooling children at ages 7 and 5. They worked well for about two years, despite a few issues from time to time with syncing up. When my youngest daughter turned 4 I bought her the newer motion watch with the nightlight charger. Once we put her schedule in and had her all set up, we experienced issues with the older watches. I’m now unable to use the older two watches that refuse to sync or even be acknowledged by the app to refresh them and my kids really miss them. Is there a way to get the Bluetooth to work properly with the older watches or are they so old they simply don’t work anymore?

App crashes when trying to sync watch
The app keeps crashing every time I try to sync the watch, It never crashed before the new IOS update. please help! My daughter really wants to be able to tell time again and use all watch features as before.

Great help
I have thes for two of my kids for a few year now. Started my son age at 2 1/2 or so. It’s been a tremendous help! We have very busy schedule and really helps one to reminds me what I’m doing sometimes but also gives the kids more of an idea what’s going on. The watch it’s great but really it’s a tool that reminds us what to do and talk about it vs losing our cool because we forgot. Only con is the app used to set schedule wish it was easier. Aside from that I would recommend to anyone

Very disappointed
When we first purchased this watch, it seemed to be exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunately, my daughter let the watch run dead. Since that has happened, we have been unable to log into our account. We get an error saying there is a backend issue. We basically have a watch that doesn’t work because we are unable to correct the time and icons. Very disappointed in how there is no way to troubleshoot or contact anyone. I feel this was a huge waste of money and would not recommend.

Joy Octopus company where are you??
We used the Octopus watch for months and it worked great. We took a break from it for two months and now the app won’t let me or my wife log in, the schedule is gone, and the watch doesn’t sync to our phones anymore! What’s worse is there is no company support. It’s like they were massively successful and then stopped manufacturing and everything. Ghosted all of us! What is going on?

Doesn’t work
My daughter found the watch and wanted to use it again. However, when trying to login, it keeps saying there is an error on the backend and we cannot do anything to log in.

It’s was working for the first few months and then all of a sudden it’s saying there is a error and backbend issue!? So i can’t even log in. I’m just trying to know the time and I can’t even do that with this watch!

App makes watch obsolete
Without app support, the watch is junk. It won’t even tell the time! I cannot connect the watch, or log in. The manufacturer needs to do the bare minimum with this app for those who purchased these watches in the first place.

Account suspended?
It worked for awhile, now cannot sign in and doesn’t remember previous settings. Tried to reset password but states “account suspended”. The watch seems fine, the app not. No support to fix the issue.

Can’t set up
Got the watch for my daughter, trying to create an account on the app and it keeps saying “error occurred during communication with the backend”. I would really like to set it up to f I can get a solution. Couldn’t find one online
