Lou in Louisville,
One of the funnest games I’ve ever played!
I don’t know how but this game is 5 years old, yet I’ve never seen it or heard of it before. This game was so much fun, and honestly it is one of the most funnest games I’ve ever played, no exaggeration. The graphics and physics are perfect, the character(s) are so cool, and each level makes you think, some are harder than others, but overall, 100 levels of pure fun. This is not a typical puzzle game or escape game, it’s definitely one of a kind and I like that. I’m very impressed with the game and wish there were more levels. But if you are contemplating getting this game, I definitely recommend it. You can play for free if you don’t mind the ads every so often, they weren’t intrusive or anything, but I’d say it’s definitely worth the $3.99 due to the hours of gameplay you get. I played through the night and didn’t put it down. Yes, I completed all 100 levels in one sitting. It took me all night. I couldn’t put it down. So there’s my thoughts on this game. I highly recommend it. 5 stars for sure.
SodiumPapyrus,
Really enjoyable game
Downloaded this app figuring it would just be sometime I download for a day and delete the day after because I got bored with it. But to my surprise this was a really fun, challenging, engaging, and overall enjoyable game. The physics are a little weird sometimes and some of it you’ve got to be a little lucky with timing. But most levels are really interesting puzzles that I enjoyed figuring out and because they allow you to get hints by watching an ad I never got annoyed because I couldn’t get past a level. In total this was a great app and although I finished all the levels in five days or so it was an enjoyable five days and maybe in the future when I’ve forgotten how to do the levels I’ll come back and play again!!
jfenwick,
Great concept; Not quite there
As a physics based engine, most of the objects react well with each other, but they don't react well to touch. I'd frequently drag a block only to see it lag behind the path of my finger - almost an entire half second behind! Please work on better interaction.

I was disappointed in the levels. Several of the levels just had to be guessed at until you figured out the "trick." There should always be a way to solve a puzzle without guesswork, either with a better clue upfront, or more obvious interaction, or better level design.

The flow of the levels needs tweaking. I expected the higher numbered levels to be more difficult than the lower levels, but this was not always the case.

I'd love to have more opportunity to build your own machine. Too often they were pre built contraptions that I then just had to manipulate. Let me participate in the building! Or at least the power routing.... For some of the blocks, the only time I was able to experiment with them was in the "sandbox" at the end of the credits. (Also, is there not a faster way to get to this from the menu once I've discovered it? Walking across the forever-long field to get to the storage shed is a pain.

Otherwise, some great stuff is happening here. Great concepts. Nice visual design. Fun mix of gravity/interaction physics with construction/power physics.
Top2266,
There's better games.
I've played the first 50 levels of this game at the time of my review, and I have to say, it's interesting. But unfortunately, the appeal stops there. While the game has an integrated crafting system of sorts, it rarely exploits it, instead requiring you to simply add one or two parts to a previously-made machine. The levels can be very short, only really serving the purpose of showing you some cool tech that you can't actually make yourself.

While the crafting system is cool, and the main limitation is the game's resources, the crafting can (and will) act up. You'll find it frustratingly difficult to turn a block 90 degrees for a simple task, only to drop it and have it flip back over to the wrong side.

It would not be very difficult for the developers to make this into a great sandbox game, but I doubt we'll ever see it. Save your money, and go find two other mediocre puzzle game for the price of this one.

Adorable Character And Really Fun Game.
I am really enjoying this super cute game so far. I found the graphics, artwork and sound effects to just be wonderful. I also really like how there are no hints for the puzzles and you just have to use brain power and deductive reasoning to figure them out.

One feature request that I would like to make to the developer is, can you please add a level editor to the game? I think it would just be so much fun if users had a way to construct their own puzzles using the tools of the game and hopefully share their creations with other users. I believe a physics game like this is just begging for the option of a fully functioning level editor. I hope that you will please consider and think over my feature request please, thank you.

I think if you are looking for a super cute puzzle/platform/physics game, then you just cannot go wrong with choosing Odd Bot Out in my opinion. Many thanks to the developer for this awesome game and all of the time and hard work that you no doubt put into constructing and refining it. Thanks again and God bless.

Falcon BlueFire,
Game is absolutely BEGGING for a level editor.
This review contains spoilers.

The levels included with the game are pretty good, but the potential for levels and machines is phenomenal.

Ending the game by allowing players to build what they want with this beautifully crafted system just makes sense, so I have to ask, where is the level editor?

I could easily imagine a larger community forming around this game if player make and share levels.

All of the components to make an endless number of custom challenges, vehicles, machines, and computers are there.

So why can’t players make use of those untapped possibilities?

The small pile of blocks and stretch of grass at the end is great, but ultimately pitiful compared to the possibilities of an editor that lets the player use more of each block in the colors they want.

To reiterate, the levels included are great, but when players can make their own machines, or even computers, the game needs a public level creation tool to make the most of what the game has to offer.

Your other game Mekorama features a level editor, but it’s spin and sliding blocks pale in comparison to this game’s wheels and logic gates.
Alan~,
Another awesome game.
AlReady done the game. Really great. HOpe that has the feature to build the game by players. A friendly remind you guys to play the game a little bit more,I can tell you that the blocks can be separate if they are locked. Don't yell at the game cuz you are not play much or just shows us your iq is low. I hope this can add more. I am not saying it is a difficult game but indeed, it is a real game that is really relaxing. I don like a stupid game that is super hard and that annoys people, that is not a game. Game is something that suppose to make fun, right. This is what you need. Do not believe the one who think the game is too easy, cuz he did not finish the game yet.
jacoblee00000,
Great game with an annoying bug
After completing a level, you’re taken back to the main screen. The main screen contains all the levels in the game. The next uncompleted level is marked by a pulsating purple circle. Sometimes, I’m unable to tap that purple circle. During that time, I’m also unable to scroll to other levels. The screen is NOT frozen because the purple circle still pulsates. Rather, my touch input is not recognized. This is a very annoying bug. If it is fixed, then I will update my review to five stars!

Edit: if the bug is fixed but I finished the game and it’s a great game. 5 stars.
Blogdog2000,
You solve challenging puzzles. Test your brain.
lI got this app months ago. I don't play every day now (I did at first). But I still really love it. Like the reviewers before said, the physics are amazing, and each time I play again, I'm challenged and rewarded. It's just so well done! Kudos to the developer. Very smart guy with a great sense of creating brain challenging puzzles in this unique virtual environment. I'd like to see more where this came from, I would pay again! 5 thumbs up. This app is innovative and unique. I think it could lead to some really great evolutions.
oceanchor,
Really fun. I can’t solve level 40
This game is really cute and the levels aren’t very challenging. A few levels require good timing or prior knowledge, so I struggled a bit to solve them. I can’t figure Level 40 out. There’s a large platform high up, and you have to get onto it. On the ground there is a box with a button on top, and it can connect to a rocket-thingy that can fly. You have to plug in the box and rocket and press the button down for the rocket to work. I don’t know how to carry the robot up onto the higher ground. (For example, I tried to carry the robot up with the rocket. There wasn’t anything to press the button with.)
