Description
OhanaMe Safety system gives you the freedom to be fearless, whether it's your concern for a loved one or for yourself. We are focused on one mission - provide a state-of-the-art safety and wellness solution that keeps you meaningfully connected to your “Ohana”.
Features:
1. OhanaMe has an instant alert button and contacts your Ohana via multiple methods, but safety goes way beyond this essential yet basic feature.
2. Have a backup plan for the unexpected. OhanaMe allows you to plan ahead by setting a monitoring function for any 24-hour timeframe. Going on a date, an occasional run, walking the dog, out to a party, a road trip, or just home alone, set an OhanaMe Monitoring function in seconds. If you become disabled or unable to call for help by the expected time to finish an activity, an Alert will be sent to your Ohana.
3. Create an instant backup plan with our Monitor 5 Mins feature when you are in an uncertain situation. Use this feature for walking to your car at night, when you feel dizzy but you're not sure it's anything at all, being followed by someone but it might be nothing, or a date makes you uncomfortable. Now you don’t have to wait until you need help, and you may not be able to call for help. Just before something goes wrong, many people have a 'feeling' things aren't right. This feature allows you to act on those feelings without having to alert others (yet). Instantly set this standby monitoring, and if things end up going the wrong direction, an Alert to your Ohana is sent. If nothing happens or you overcome the issue at hand, just stop the monitoring. You will always have a backup plan.
4. Flexibility is key to maximizing your safety. Alert the correct people for a given place and time. Because you have an active life, the Ohana who could help you in your time of need are not always the same. If you are at work, the best people to call for help are work security and maybe your co-workers, not your neighbor. But if you are walking your dog, your neighbors and family would be in the best position to help you. OhanaMe allows you to change who responds to your Alerts with a tap of a button. You can monitor your entire day from 8 AM – 6 PM and change your Ohana from family, to work security and co-workers at work, to friends you go visit, and back to your family when you go home -- in seconds.
5. Privacy is important. If you don’t need help, you might not want others to know where you have been all day. OhanaMe supports privacy when you don’t need help. Just turn on Privacy with a tap of a button and your location information will only be shared if you request help.
6. Never worry about your loved ones. OhanaMe keeps a light touch on your loved ones all day. If you can’t find them (and they have Privacy off), you can always request their latest location.
7. When the unexpected happens, you and your Ohana can be prepared. You can enter Alert Contacts in preparation for the unexpected. Contacts like your neighbor, your doctor, best friend, roommate, or work security are people your Ohana might not know if they are needed to help you. Likewise, your friends, daughter/son, niece/nephew, grandparents, all have other important contacts in case of an emergency or might have friends who could help in an emergency (EMT, security guard, etc.). These ‘resources’ allow you and your Ohana to plan and pull resources together to maximize your joint community of skills and resources. When you need help, your resources and your Ohana’s community of resources can be quickly accessed to help you.
