The 2-star rating is for the app, not the dating service. It is missing substantial information from the web version. It only includes a photo, 8 pieces of information, and the introduction that the person wrote. It's missing all the questions with paragraph answers, and all the checklist questions about interests. Since all of this is important information -- at least to me -- I end up using the web version on my phone even though I have the app.
About the dating service: this is my second favorite of the ones I've tried. OKCupid remains my clear favorite because -- at least for people in my match range -- people write long profiles and answer many questions -- usually several hundred, sometimes over a thousand. It really helps you to know if this is a person you want to pursue.
Other sites I've tried, other than OnDaySix, have too little information about the person, making them useless (Christian Mingle, Christian Dating For Free, etc.) OnDaySix asks some good free-form questions that are helpful in getting to know the person.
OnDaySix is a strongly Christian website with most people coming from a Bethel church background. A drawback of OnDaySix is that it seems the majority of people are from the Redding, California area, where Bethel Church and the ministry school is. For example, most states in the Great Lakes area only have about 50 women on this site, of all ages combined (who have included photos).
Speaking of ages, most members are under 35.
