I am 12 a disappointed
I am disappointed because I thought it was supposed to be all ages so that was really disappointing they were going to be only five people that were there to be friends. But there is a good thing to it if you are around 3 to 10 maybe 11 then you have a chance of getting a friend on the app. So try it out for your self!😻

The experience my students have had has given them the ability to see the world's children as similar to them and not so "strange".
It had been a wonderful addition to my social studies curriculum. It allows me to choose how much or how little time we spend in one culture.
I have used it consistently every week on World Wednesday. This app is worth the money.

safe, educational and fun for my kids
Both my 3 yr old daughter and my 8 yr old son play with this app regularly. They enjoy the stories read by kids from other countries, and like recording their own voices trying to learn other languages. Great global perspective presented in a way that really engages my children. Additional "friends" or titles are more fun and cheaper than a new book from the bookstore! Love this for an upcoming vacation where the kids will be trapped on a plan and car for 10 hours.

Great for many reasons!
What a fun app, with a much needed message: All kids are different, special, and loved. I love the concept and this app is well done. The stories are positive and interesting, and kids can find connections to their own lives. The only thing I would change is a way to buy all the "friends" at once. If there is a way, I haven't found it yet. I'll do some more exploring. Great app!

Absolutely. Worth. Downloading. Even with the IAPs, this app teaches kids about the likeness and differences of kids around the world helping you to connect to other people's experiences. Although there is no active communication between you and the stories...it feels like it on a very personal level. Highly recommended.

Great idea to learn about different cultures
My kids and I really like this app. It's a great way for kids to learn about different cultures. I love the interesting details about daily life of the portrayed kids as well as the kids narration. It makes it very easy for kids to identify and relate. Love it. Looking forward to more!

My 4-year-old daughter (and I) can't wait for more friends! I love that these are real kids doing real things - a wonderful break from so many cartoons, apps and even books geared toward the preschool set. I hardly consider OGK to be screen time for my girl!

I love this app it helps me learn what other kids do in other country and I love to learn about them but I think all the children should be free because I want to learn about them too.
