Research shows that children who use High Frequency, Short Duration practice of target sounds are dismissed from speech therapy more than 8 months sooner than children in traditional programs. This app was created to give parents, teachers and Speech-Language Pathologists a way to tap into High Frequency, Short Duration drills so that every second spent with a child counts! The focus of each round, either in the practice mode or the test mode, is to elicit as many correct responses as possible from a child in the shortest amount of time to establish correct and consistent production of sounds and to change speech patterns.

Excellent program for non-verbal child!
I highly recommend this product! My son is 10 years old, has learning disabilities, gross and fine motor delays, and is non-verbal. Since using this app, my son is able to articulate a lot more sounds! My husband and I are so pleased and excited with the success so far with just the trial, that I bought this to use more extensively with the full program.
As a mom who wants something to use at home to further my sons success at communicating, this is just what I was looking for! We use sign language to name each picture and then incorporate what the first sound of that picture is. He can now get a vowel and beginning consonant together. We’re very happy with his progress so far and look forward to how much it will help him over the coming year and years to come. His behaviors have gotten a lot better too, because he’s feeling successful at communicating better.
This app is so affordable, and is just what I was looking for to work more in depth at low duration and high frequency at home. He needs a lot of repetition to make things “stick” and the use of the different levels and vocabulary words has been amazing! I am thrilled with this app and cannot recommend it highly enough!

Two year old is speaking much more!
At first we thought our grandson was having a problem hearing, so his parents made appointments to rule out ear/hearing problems. The doctors and audiologist confirmed that his ears and hearing were not the problem so we turned to The Speech Solution for help. The One Minute Articulation app together with The Speech Solutions activity packets, have our grandson eagerly practicing his sounds as well as increasing his desire to make the proper sounds while learning new words. The Visual Phonics section on The Speech Solution website has given us a very powerful tool to help our grandson pronounce every sound in each word (he was dropping the ending sound on several words). If you have a child in your life that needs any type of help with communication, I HIGHLY recommend The One Minute Articulation app as well as the tools offered on The Speech Solution website! Together, they really work wonders for a child’s speech!!

Word with the letter R
My daughter has been using this app in conjunction with speech. In less than 30 days, she has gone from words that begin with the letter R to saying sentences with the letter R all over. I recommend this app 100 times over to give your child more practice. Bonus is the games. My daughter LOVES the games she gets to play. I do recommend you buying the app on your child’s decide if they one. We were unable to share it from my phone to her phone.

Sentence structure
We love One Minute Articulation for building my son’s ability to form sentences! We’ve only been using the app for a couple months, but his ability to talk through his problems instead of just growl one word answers at us has improved tremendously. I am thankful we have this tool to add to our approach in communicating with our kiddo. Nothing beats hearing more and more of his heart, and I know it is a relief to him to be able to express himself more completely.

Fast, fun and fabulous
One Minute Articulation is a wonderful app. My son has ADHD and sitting in one place focusing on one task for too long is very difficult for him. This app is great because Gabriel can get in a significant amount of practice in one minute. The format makes the practice like a game for him.
This app allows us to practice his speech on the go or at home. For a busy mom like me and a very active kiddo like Gabriel this app is the best way for us to work on his speech sounds daily.

Wonderful!
We absolutely love this app! Our daughter likes to click the buttons after each picture and then look at her results. When we are consistent we see great progress with our daughter's speech. I really appreciate how this app starts simple and builds from words to sentences. It is easy to use and only takes a short amount of time and doesn't get overwhelming.

Great for articulation practice at home!
My daughter is working on her “s” and “z” sounds, and this app is so helpful!! The practice is engaging (all kids love phones and iPads!!) and easy to use. It saves me a lot of work trying to come up with words/phrases/sentences to use for practice. It gives my daughter a chance to have fast-paced, highly concentrated practice every day! It’s perfect for parents with children learning to say their sounds :)

Excellent Tool!!
My 6 year old daughter is autistic, and has cochlear implants. It can be hard for her to seat down and focus on a task but, when we open the One-Minute Articulation app, she takes control. She likes the colorful pictures and she likes to slide to the next picture. I love the stages of this app because, it first starts with words then phrases, and finally with sentences. I highly recommended.

What a wonderful way to spend a minute!
As a speech tutor this app adds icing to the speech lesson cake! The kids love it ( because it’s “their” app) and I love it because it supports the child’s speech success! Never has speech homework been so easy. My parents love it! They use it in the car, at the park, even camping. Try it! You will love it!!!

One-Minute Articulation is a game-changer
We have been using the app since December. It is amazing how many specific sound practices you can get in using this method. You can choose beginning, middle, or end sounds, as well as each separate speech sound. There are so many options for successful speech. Well worth the money.
