Description
This year marks the twenty-two outing of the international documentary film festival One World, organised by People in Need. During the twenty years of its existence, One World has become the largest documentary film festival in the world focusing on human rights. The festival works with a broad definition of human rights. The programme, therefore, includes not only films about political and development issues, but also on social issues, the environment, and lifestyles. The festival also features an extensive array of accompanying events, including discussions with directors, film protagonists, and human rights activists. For the fourth year now, the One World for All project will be up and running. Its goal is to make the programme accessible for the blind and visually impaired, the deaf and hard of hearing, and viewers with reduced mobility or mental disabilities —to make the festival accessible for everyone.
