It’s motivating but…
Overall I like the app. It has been motivating to me to get out and walk more and to do the little daily exercises. I’ve lost so much muscle, strength & stamina from persistent chronic tick diseases so the 1-2 minutes of exercise is perfect for me- challenging yet doable.
What I don’t understand is why the reward gift card is either $5 for 10,000 gems (ALWAYS out of stock) or $5 for 20,000 gems. Why even offer the reward for 10,000 gems if it’s never available? And who would choose to pay 20,000 for the same amount? It should be $10 for 20,000. Or remove the teaser of the 10,000 gem reward since it is never available even right at the moment they say it gets restocked.
I’m not doing this for the $5 gift card but my 14 year old daughter is and it’s been discouraging for her to see it listed but never available. And it’s frustrating to me bcs I don’t want her to lose motivation to keep going with this increased walking she’s been doing.

No “real” rewards
I got this app because it advertises being able to win rewards for walking... but that’s not really the case. You earn points or gems by walking, and I actually enjoy how their point system works and that gems are easy to accumulate; HOWEVER, once you earn the gems they are pretty much useless. The only “rewards” that are actually offered are raffles for prizes- so you spend your gems with no actual guarantee of an actual reward .

No Guaranteed Prizes
I walk a lot in a day so I thought this app would be good for me. Unfortunately, there are no guaranteed prizes. The only offers I’m getting are raffles. Raffles are great but I would prefer guaranteed prizes at a higher price (a $5 gift card for 10,000 gems) rather than a 15 gem chance at a raffle. When I went searching for an answer, I found the standard vague answers of ‘We’re partnering with new companies and releasing new prizes every month.’ I feel like there should be an option to cash out once you reach a certain gem point for actual cash such as PayPal. I have other apps specifically for walking that have that option. Right now this app is simply taking up space and battery life.
Edit: they have added gift cards. However, there are a limited amount of them and they often sell out quickly. So I added two stars for listening. And maybe one day I’ll be lucky enough to get one of those gift cards

Yes I like the app. I wish they would stop asking me if I like the app!
I wish they would stop asking me to invite my friends. My friends will not join because you have cookies they will not except cookies because that’s how people get hacked! I just want to track my steps track my sleep and be happy camper! So if that’s what you want in an app you’re going to get a bunch of emails and a bunch of messages and they want you to do this and they want you to do that and every other day they want you to invite invite invite invite invite invite invite invite invite invite invite invite invite invite invite invite invite invite invite invite! So if you don’t want to be aggravated because they want you to invite someone you should not download this app if that doesn’t bother you you’ll be good with it. I try to ignore it!

Good but not polished, poor rewards
It’s good to have the Carrot app back, as I’ve noticed even small rewards provide a great incentive to be healthier. My daily steps have definitely gone back up!
The app has lots of issues, however. You can’t see when you’re friends are already in challenges, leading to some confusion.
The rewards are WEAK! You’d have to walk for a whole month to get $.30 in Petro points. I mean, I know it’s free but yikes, that’s weak. The old Carrot app lets me watch a couple of movies in the theater each year. I’ll be lucky to get a pack of gum in a year with this.
Won’t complain too much though, it is free and useful. Get this app!

There really nothing to do on this app I think you should add like a daily workout or a weekly run/jog I’m so so so sorry if this is mean I really don’t want to be mean I swear but it would be a lot more fun if there were more physical actions or activities I don’t know if that’s what you were going for like a mental Heath app but it would be amazing if you added something more physical don’t get me wrong I love the quizzes and you should definitely keep them just keep in mind that you could help even more people not just with mental health but physical Heath do and I sure as heck need both thank you for reading. Disappearing Rewards
A friend sent me the app and we are completing a challenge together. For a month under ‘rewards’ there was a variety of merchant rewards (Target, Starbucks, etc) as well as the ability to donate to American Cancer Society. These rewards have disappeared and the response was it was a glitch and the rewards shouldn’t have shown. This was after I supposedly successfully sent a donation.
The app is easy to use and it is nice to have a challenge with a friend. The goals are set quite low and easy to meet. The pictures and descriptions for some exercises don’t correspond which causes confusion and some of the data is out of date. There are more reliable apps out there.

Possibly a scam
I'm frustrated now. For the past couple of weeks, I've tried to redeem a measly $5 gift card and it spins and then says it's out of stock; this happens everyday at noon when they guarantee the gift cards will be replenished. I feel more and more that this is becoming a scam and let me tell you why. Before, it was 10,000 gems to redeem a gift card now it's 20,000. Not only that, you're locked out from redeeming another one for 30 days! It takes me more than that to collect the 20,000 so to finally get there and not be able to redeem makes me think we're just being shoved ads down our throat with nothing to gain from it.

Customer service is amazing!!
I just downloaded this app today and was having trouble getting my email verified. I sent customer service a message and they responded within the hour and corrected the problem! I haven’t got to really do much with the app, but with customer service this good I feel like I won’t have any problems with it!

Finally added gift cards but so few available it isn’t real
Finally added gift card how ever they are half the value compared to other tracking apps for the number of days it takes to earn enough points. Also I’m not sure they actually have more than 1 or 2. 6:13am EDT Monday and all are sold out already. Had already quit because the sweeps are pointless but if they aren’t actually going to stock the gift cards either then basically this app is selling your data and you get nothing for it.
