Description

Winter is coming… a blizzard of reactions is heading your way! Make learning organic chemistry easier with these customizable flashcards. Organic Reaction Cards will help you learn the reactions commonly encountered in college organic chemistry courses. In just seconds, you can set up a deck of flash cards for the reaction topics of your choice. You can configure the flash cards to hide any reaction component (reactant, reagent or product) which is then revealed upon “flipping” the card. You can even hide the reaction name separately to help you learn named reactions.

Over 40 reactions covering:
• Electrophilic additions of alkenes
• Reactions of dienes
• Electrophilic aromatic substitutions
• Reactions of substituted benzenes

Other Features Include:
• Useful notes for each reaction regarding stereoselectivity, regioselectivity and reaction limitations
• Hide any reaction component (reactant, reagent or product), great for learning to think synthetically
• Delete reactions in a deck that are not covered in your class and you don’t need to learn
• Created by an award winning professor of chemistry

Additional cards can be purchased that cover over 150 common organic reactions!

cats12329,
This will literally save your grade in orgo!!!!
The customizability really helped me learn the reactions backwards and forwards! This app will help you predict productions, learn reaction names, and memorize reagents. Great for upping your synthesis game as well!!!!
I already really like how the notes section of each card includes must-know details of each reaction!! You need this app in your life!
cowspots2256,
GREAT APP!
I like the update on this app. There are options on how you want to view the flash cards to test your knowledge... FANTASTIC prep for tests! Also, it’s reasonably priced, and I liked these cards so much that I went and bought the nomenclature ones too!! I was not very good in orgo, but survived the class with these apps!
NinjaNabo,
Really nice app! One suggestion tho!
I would love for the ability to use this app in split screen. For example, have my note taking app open and also have the flash cards app open side by side.

Great review before a test
To prepare for the PCAT, I'm attempting to learn the essentials of Organic Chemistry before taking the class. The Nomenclature apps were hands down, 5 stars, the best apps I've ever purchased. It's the best $3.98 ($1.99 x 2 apps) I've ever spent. I love how it taught the material in easy to understand language, then quizzed me to reinforce it.

The app on reactions, also great, didn't teach the material. Seemingly, it should be used as a tool to enforce concepts previously learned in class. Thus, it didn't help me understand the reactions. I humbly request an app on reactions that brakes down the concepts as so masterfully done with the nomenclature app.
