Hypnotic

Gorgeous! A few slight usability issues (dragging to select a time span, trying to get back to the full view after zooming in on a planet), but the beauty of this app more than makes up for them. Fascinating and informative.

Mesmerizing

Very happy to see this app updated for IOS 11 compatibility. Quote fun and beautifully engrossing to open and play around with the intuitive controls. The ability with a few nudges to see current positions of planets from different points of view (and in time) make this one of my favorite apps. Love it!

Fantastic

Such an improvement already! It was beautiful and impressive but the rendering improvements and smaller control buttons made a huge difference! Just make Saturn’s rings look the right scale and I’ll love it!!!

Pretty but annoying interface

This is pretty, but the touch controls are more annoying than I have ever encountered. You can drag around the orrery, but when you release your finger it just keeps going. It seems like the designer is going for some kind of calming aesthetic effect, but the result induces stress when trying to navigate.

This is an important app, it is visually appealing and it is educational, something the iPad was designed for. Again, unlike other good ones, please keep supporting this .....

Better than an orrery I saw as a kid

Orrery is just lovely. It’s designed for the perspective on our solar system, but I find I relax almost meditatively while watching this, and the appropriate ethereal music is a treat.

Music, Soundtrack?

I love this app, which for a moment reminds us and invite us to zoom out into the solar system.

I’d love to know the artist of the musical piece; I simply find it quite soothing..

mesmerizing

as a clueless viewer i was stunned by the relative rush Earth and its moon seem to be in. but the best thing is the calming effect gazing has on the mind.

Simply Beautiful. PLEASE KEEP IT ALIVE.

Absolutely lovely visuals. Such a thoughtful and educational app. As another reviewer noted, it's what the iPad was made for.

The warnings however, keep coming. The next iOS upgrade will most unfortunately antiquate your tremendous resource. Please don't let your obvious hard work go by the wayside.
