A challenging app
My siblings and I got the Osmo genius kit for Christmas last year and so far all the apps work great. Masterpiece is actually really challenging though, and too hard for my youngest siblings (3 and 5 years old) to draw. They now prefer the latest addition to our collection, Osmo monster, where what they draw doesn’t have to be perfect.
As for he other apps, Osmo Newton, Osmo numbers and Osmo letters all work great, though it is a bit difficult for my siblings to find a letter in a huge pile of tiles. And Osmo tangram works well too, it just seems very dull and is easy to complete all the levels even for 3 and 5 year olds working together.
As for the Osmo apps as a whole, my siblings all enjoy playing games from our collection and have added the Osmo Coding and Osmo pizzeria sets to their Christmas and birthday lists! Thanks Osmo, for creating a great set of games!

App is very glitchy
I got the Osmo for a birthday gift a couple years back, and it gave me hours of fun. After about a year I got bored of it, so I deleted all of the apps. Just today I decided to download it again because I wanted to draw some random stuff, and it just wasn’t the same. When I would be drawing the lines would just randomly start to move around the screen. I would be extremely upset, but I would simply move them back. This worked for about two seconds until they would move again, and they would get smaller or larger. I would get very stressed because it would do this when I would be doing very detailed designs, and then they would move to an unfixable position. So if you are extremely patient and willing to deal with this for some silly drawing then I would recommend this app, if not don’t waste your time with it and your money in the started and games.

Great but needs few improvement....
My 8 year old sister got this game for Christmas from my aunt. When it came with the package, it said that it required an iPad Air, or mini in order for it to fit on the stand. That was a huge problem for us because we didn't have an iPad Air or mini. We have an older generation of the iPad, so it wouldn't fit on the stand😢😓😔. This is not good because we can't use this app properly. I wanted to also write this review because it's not fair that the stand can only fit with certain iPads and not others. Its basically requiring people like me who have older iPads to waste their money on buying a new iPad just because of the requirements for this little game. You HAVE TO FIX THIS NOW!!!!

I've Only Rated Four Stars Because...
I have only rated this four stars because, though it is an awesome game, it's not really for children. I'm only nine, but I'm warning the parents that this game isn't for younger children that don't understand bad words and some bad pictures when you go to search for their favorite things. But, if they understand to not search for certain things that aren't for kids their age, then this would be the perfect gift for your child if they like to draw. Just a warning about the search.

Needs updating!
I used all the Osmo apps for several years with my kindergarten classes and the children loved it as I did. I am retired now and wanted to use Masterpiece for my own enjoyment. However although my iPads have moved on, Masterpiece has not. I use the 11 in. iPad Pro which fits just fine in the Osmo base, but Masterpiece won’t work. It will pretty soon become obsolete if you do not update the app to play on newer tech. Considering the price of the base set (which was $100 when I purchased it and is probably more now) it doesn’t seem fair that you don’t update the app to play on the newer iPads. The Osmo system is great if it works on your gadget, and I would have given five stars if it did.

Why can’t I play on my iPhone??? 😕
I got my kit about 2 years ago, and I loved it. It helped me show my creativity, and let me draw everything I wanted to with ease. Though, I was very disappointed when I found out that phones don’t work any more. I have up in the app for about 4 months when I wanted to try again. I opened the app when it said that it fixed the phone problem. I was super happy, but when I went in, it wasn’t working for me. I just tried to do it again 7 months later, and It still isn’t working for me. This is very annoying, because if it was working, it would be my favorite app. Btw I have iPhone XS. Idk If that causes the problem, but I’m still disappointed. Pls fix this :(

Pretty good, but very glitchy.
My siblings and I got the Osmo Masterpiece kit 7 years ago as a present for Christmas. It’s a fantastic app!!! It’s really easy to use and understand, except for one thing. Just recently, in the past year or two, it’s started glitching really badly. The worst glitch is when your picture moves around on the drawing screen so that it doesn’t align with what you have already done. Other glitches are us getting kicked out completely and the search not working. All of this may be because our iPad is 5 years old, but that’s decent still for an iPad’s “lifespan.”

It’s a great app and all..
I love the app. I was able to make a cute art piece and show it around my school, but one day I found some inappropriate pictures. Also, this is for kids, and it’s a little hard to understand for younger children. And it might inject some bad images in their brains.. Overall, this app is great! It inspires kids to draw, but try to improve what you allow posted on Masterpiece.

Camera freeze
This is a very good app, but it’s 1 star here because for whatever reason, the camera just freezes. No matter if I’m trying to draw with it or I’m taking a photo, the camera just isn’t working and will not move. This makes this app pretty much unusable, because I’ve tried reinstalling and restarting my iPad but nothing seems to change and I don’t think it’s my iPad’s fault because the camera works with every other app I have (none of them are osmo related however).

No IPhones
I bought this kit two years ago and LOVED it! It helped my draw so easily, and it was very fun! I then lost the kit for a year, and just recently found it! I downloaded the app again (Osmo masterpiece) only to find out it wasn’t compatible with iPhones anymore. I and very devastated, annoyed, frustrated, and mad with the company at the moment. If this would be fixed, you would get a 5 star review from me, and I would love to be able to use the app, bc I can’t anymore. Fix this soon. It really is a big problem, and I know I’m not the only one who’s mad about it.
