Unfortunately if your reading this review you most likely already have the device... Be prepared to severely dislike this app...
1. "Open in" functionality HAS to be included, if not then what's the point of this thing in the first place????
- please atleast add the function to put documents in apps like notability, and PDFs in iBooks!
2. Music player needs WAAAY more functionality. On ios you can't import off of this device (apple wouldn't allow it anyways); however, that means you will have to listen to the songs through this app which has NO PLAYLIST FUNCTIONALITY. It plays one song then stops, if you back out of the player it stops, if you want to change the song it takes 3 clicks! Atleast add a next song option! And allow me to back out of the player to do other things like look at photos while music continues to play!!
I have to admit the device is fantastic! The functionality for wifi routing, repeating, sharing of files with friends and coworkers is amazing.. ON A PC AND PC ONLY.
On an iphone tho? This does nothing for you, and that's a shame because my iphone and ipad are on me literally 100% of the time. I take a PC with me 5% of the time. Great idea poor execution. Based on previous updates to the app I guess I'll have to wait 2 more months to see if anything is better, so this will sit in my desk till then.

Super cool app
I am very impressed with this device. I bought it from Fry’s a while ago and haven’t gotten around to using it until now. I have read the other reviews about the app not turning in landscape mode, but I guess I wasn’t using the device when that was occurring. The latest version I have allows this and the quality of video is great!
One of my favorite things about the newest version is the ability to use dropbox and google drive. I use started using these functions every day at the office and they have been working great. I also found out I can finally create a new folder.
Overall, I am super impressed with the product itself and the application and can’t wait to see more products coming out from this company.

Update needed
With the new iOS formats unfortunately this app no longer works. Which is extremely unfortunate because this closed network device is amazing for traveling. Would love to continue to use this product, unfortunately without the app update the Monster OTG device is only good for a small battery backup for my other devices. Please update. 2 stars for still being able to use the battery otherwise 1 star at this point in time.

So tell me do you intend to update your App so that we in the world of consumers can continue to use your products or not. You just can’t get us to buy your products and then drop us off on the side of the road. I know new products has been introduced since you started but the fact of the matter is I can past this on to my family to use. So please let’s get to the drawing board and get this done. Not updating this app does not instill confidence in your devices. Thanks

Useless for music
I intended to use this for my car. But can only play one song before it stops. No landscape and the buttons for left and right are tiny useless when driving. Continuous random play w/ large lanscape buttons would be nice but las update was 2 yrs ago

need to update your app
i still want to use my OTG Cloud device but now can’t because you haven’t updated your app to work with the latest iOS. i would give your app a 5 if i could still use it. if you don’t update it i would have to buy another product which uses an app also. i am reluctant because after spending a good chunk of money don’t want to have an expensive useless product because app is no longer supported. if i could go back to iOS 10 i would. but Apple won’t allow-which i’m also annoyed by.

Works like a it's suppose to
Read a lot of reviews on the app, but have not had any issues with the app both running off of IOS and Droid OS. I've ran the same movie off of 3 devices without problems and the quality and speed was really good.

Very poor functionality
App plays ONLY one song at a time, stops when out back out. No option for playing next song or making a playlist. Plays very limited video formats, really only MP4. Does not open most documents.

Love the App and the device, but need update to work with iOS 11. As of right now nothing is working...

Does not support "Open In" and .avi streaming capability
This app doesn't support the "Open In" functionality. If you won't let me stream .avi movies in the native app, at least enable me to open the files in other Apps. Otherwise this app isn't very useful!
