A trip to an Other world: Quartic Llama blends gaming and the stage to great effect - Pocket Gamer
5/5 - Brilliant. Totally great experience, really well integrated into the city of Dundee and super engaging!
5/5 - If you are in Dundee and have a iPhone, a love of all things gothic and spooky, and an hour to spare, you simply must download and take the journey. One of the best iPhone experiences I've had.
A location based horror sound game that leads players on a journey through the streets of real life Dundee to discover a fictional, darker side of the city; where the world of Dundee as you know it is subverted and there is the possibility of gothic horror around every corner. Other created by a partnership between Quartic Llama and National Theatre of Scotland and published by Biome Collective.
Follow the instructions and your map, solve the puzzles and collect the stories that take you through Dundee and invite you to experience the city in a completely different way.
Can you discover the Other side to Dundee? #NTSother
Note: The game is for iPhones and requires location services and can only be played in Dundee, UK.

Quartic Llama
Quartic Llama was an independent game development studio working on fun, innovative and beautiful games. We are a highly creative team working on award-winning original IP and in collaboration with exciting partners.
National Theatre of Scotland
It is our ambition to make incredible theatre experiences for you, which will stay in your heart and mind long after you have gone home.
We tirelessly seek the stories which need to be told and retold, the voices which need to be heard and the sparks that need to be ignited. We do this with an ever-evolving community of play-makers, maverick thinkers and theatre crusaders. We try to be technically adventurous and fearlessly collaborative. We are what our artists, performers and participants make us.
And with no stage of our own, we have the freedom to go where our audiences and stories take us. There is no limit to what we believe theatre can be, no limit to the stories we are able to tell, no limit to the possibilities of our imaginations. All of Scotland is our stage, and from here we perform to the world. We are a theatre of the imagination: a Theatre Without Walls.

Other Project
The game is part of Other which is a Dundee wide creative project in association with Dundee Rep and Abertay University and supported by Arts & Business Scotland (A&BS) New Arts Sponsorship Grants Scheme. Inspired by the National Theatre of Scotland’s production of Let the Right One In by arrangement with Marla Rubin Productions Ltd and Bill Kenwright, in association with Dundee Rep Theatre coming to Dundee Rep 5 – 29 June 2013. With special thanks to Unity 3D and to Dundee based community groups who have provided the stories for the game.
