******** The Plot ********
Otherworld: Epic Adventure is a story from the incredible world of Charlie Bluster but it can also be played completely stand-alone. The game starts after an assassination attempt on the life of Ireland’s most charismatic politician, Conn McLear, which has thrown the country into turmoil with worldwide ramifications. You must determine the identity of the would-be assassin and bring them to justice.
In the world of Charlie Bluster, Conn McLear has sided with Malcolm to destroy Charlie. Tipped off by Hercules, Jaden Phillips travels to a secretive location deep within the Irish countryside and miles from the nearest town. Play as Jaden and uncover the mystery of McLear’s shadowy past and learn how to stop him before it’s too late!

****************** Otherworld Screenshots ******************
Otherworld uses photos, sounds and background music to create a whole virtual world. Our screenshots are all locations or items within the game. Here is a bit more detail about each one:

1. In a massive clearing stands the Old Tree, its branches home to innumerable birds whose squabbling drowns out all other sounds from the forest.
2. An ancient, decrepit old wooden shed stands at the very edge of the site. The crackle and hum of an old electricity generator on its last legs can be heard from within.
3. This strange device looks like some kind of brewing equipment. Several wires connect it to a large cabinet and from there to the railway buffer at the back of the cavern.
4. The Map Room is tucked away at the centre of the Labyrinth and hides many secrets of the shadowy Otherworld Society.
5. If you can find her, the Princess knows the most intimate secrets of Otherworld: Epic Adventure. See some more of the beautiful pictures used to create the game on our website

To help everyone who has struggled to get started with Otherworld: Epic Adventure we've created a new 'Getting Started' article which can be found at:
https://bit.ly/O-Help

We've expanded the 'How To Guide' within the game and its 'Solving Otherworld: Epic Adventure' section to include the link to the article as well as other sources of help including our Facebook page and our walk-through guide. All these links have also been added to a new 'Help' option in the main menu and the link to the article has been added to the main description on the Apple store.

As can be seen from the screenshots and the information on our website Otherworld is an old style adventure game and we've added the word 'retro' at the start of the app store description and an additional paragraph of text to explain this.

We've also just released a free trial version called Otherworld: Adventure Game and the description of Epic Adventure has been updated to point people there first. A small change has been made to the landing page of this game to highlight that this is the full version by including the edition name.

Finally, an issue has been reported with the Derelict House. If a game is reloaded where the player is within the House then in some circumstances a second Mechanism object will appear. This has been fixed in this version.

We’ve made the following changes to the game:

1. A new item has been added to the Old Chapel at map location N5, its an inscription carved into the stones of the old altar that was left by the last occupant.
2. A new version of the fourth chart in the Map Room reveals a secret about the game location.
3. An extra chapter has been added to the Irish history book (hidden in the strong box in the Secret Lair). It contains the Assassin’s research into the last occupant of the Old Chapel and reveals another clue to the mystery behind the plot.
4. Links to the Definitive Guide have been added to both the ‘How To Play’ section and the ‘Otherworld Web Links’ on the main menu.
5. A minor bug fix, the image used to highlight sections in the books has been improved.

If you’ve already played Otherworld: Epic Adventure, then why not revisit these locations and discover these exciting new updates for yourself!

Our apologies to anyone currently stuck in the Secret Lair.
The Wall Chart in the Lair has an old set of images and while the chart itself can be solved, its not possible to use the answer to proceed any further.
In this 2.83 release the images have been replaced with the correct versions.

The Calendar should show the date “1st of May” and the photo has been updated in this version.

Sreffert,
What a head scratcher!
I love room escape & point-and-click type of puzzle games, so when this came up under my recommendations I thought I would give it a shot and I’m very pleased that I did! It will certainly make you think and will probably make you frustrated at points, but you’ll find yourself so intrigued by the story line and general gameplay that you will undoubtedly pick it back up. I suggest drawing a map for yourself as there’s a lot going on in many locations and it becomes hard to keep track of. The developer is very responsive.. I found myself clueless as to where to begin when I first started the game, sent a message on Facebook and heard back within 2 hours with some gentle guidance in the right direction. I’m still slowly chipping away at puzzle after puzzle but I find no faults thus far! Fantastic 🙌🏻
mollyfn,
Feels like 1987
This is a poorly made ‘adventure’ game that is pretty much like the games you played in the 80s. You will be disappointed if you pay for this. It’s just a series of photos of places that you visit through going North south east or west. Then point and click on other photos to supposedly find objects. You do not interact with anything, you just click on arrows and images. Fine if it’s free but no way should you pay for it.
