To access all features and content you can subscribe to OVID on a monthly or yearly basis with an auto-renewing subscription right inside the app.* Pricing can vary by region and will be confirmed before purchase in the app. In app subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of their cycle.
* All payments will be paid through your iTunes Account and may be managed under Account Settings after the initial payment. Subscription payments will automatically renew unless deactivated at least 24-hours before the end of the current cycle. Expand your horizons
Ovid has so many titles that are worth watching. While it carries film classics that you may find elsewhere the documentaries are where you’ll find fascinating and challenging subjects from around the world. Ovid also features plenty of films and series that most streaming services are likely too timid to show. Well worth the price of admission.

I cannot say enough good things about OVID. It means so much to be able to curate one’s own selection of content, and OVID makes it super easy and cost effective. I liked OVID so much after my first week I went ahead and subscribed for a whole year.

Excellent Streaming Service
My family recently replaced Netflix with this service and I like it much much better. The contents much more interesting and I find the app to be really easy to use. I would definitely recommend it.

Superb Streaming Service!
I saw an advertisement for Ovid in Mother Jones magazine and thought I’d give it a try. This is all the great movies you won’t find on the other streaming platforms: arthouse film, indie favorites, plus loads of great documentaries. At $6.99 a month it’s a real bargain!

Best place to stream thoughtful films
What a gem!! Ovid has exposed me to so many moving films. I can’t think of any other service where I could find political documentaries and other films of substance. Highly recommend their collections of masters like Patricio Guzman & Chantal Akerman.

Excellent! The curators of OVID’s content are clearly at the top of their fields. The design of the app is really sharp, and the categories it’s organized into are super smart. If you crave content beyond just mainstream stuff, and enjoy quality documentaries as well as films by important directors, this is for you!

Enjoy Ovid immensely. Canceled all my other overpriced streaming services. Ovid gives me better quality screenings at a better one time cost.

A good app for a great service
Great documentary service, and a good app. It could do with a download option and some tweaking of the interface. occasional streaming issues. Keep signing up other providers and adding films
