Description

PadBot is a peer-to-peer telepresence application. PadBot app works together with the hardware robot, which is developed by Inbot Technology Ltd. It connects iPad/iPhone with the robot via Bluetooth, turning iPad/iPhone into the brain of robot. Via PadBot app, people can control the robot remotely, representing himself/herself with video, voice and robot actions like moving around, knocking heads etc. PadBot system enriches the way of human communications greatly, making it more interactive, vivid and joyful.

The usage of PadBot is easy. By filling in e-mail, ID and password as you choose, the system creates your account. After logging in, you can search for robots nearby. Please make sure Bluetooth is turned on during this process. Once the robot is connected with Padbot app, you can search your friends' name or scan QR code. There's nicely designed docking clip on the top of robot hardware. Please put iPad into the clip, invite your friends for remote telepresence, and have fun.

Johnklaus,
Horrible app
This app does not link to my contact list and allow me to send invites to my friends. This app is terrible
PabBot Worst App,
Doesn’t make sense
Worst app ever!
Hans6720,
Great idea, but poorly executed
I really wanted to love the product, but with all the glitches it's hard to give it more than one star. The app design itself is clean and straightforward, but the core functions are almost unusable. The robot was suppose to function as a security measure for my home when I was away. I needed to be able to remotely access the robot, but the auto answering only works when the iPad for the robot is in the application. If the iPad goes to sleep or locks you will have no way on accessing the robot. Until this problem is fixed the robot is basically unusable.
Caryandkim,
Not there yet
The software is buggy and support is nom existent. You can connect and video chat from the same building but not from far away. It just doesn't and support does not respond to emails.
dannyp2313,
Works good
Will update review when you add the ability to turn off the ringer when you call your bot. For all of you wondering you have to make 2 accounts to talk/control your bot and add both accounts as FRIENDS!
nvd1,
Can't Make Calls
The app won't connect when trying to call. I've tried on multiple wifi networks and LTE. I always get a "poor network" error. Worthless.
