daniel6177,
Not for beginners
It’s the game of go. You can play real people and that part is great. However if you are a beginner understand that you will be a huge minority here. All players even the ones with a beginner rating are very very experienced. But if you like to learn by getting crushed. This is a good place for you. A lot of people with a beginner rating or 17k have well over 50,000 games played. The other issue I have is that nobody speaks or at least they don’t answer questions. OGS is a much better place To play go.
Madibular foramen,
Technical problems on the iPhone app.
I having technical problems - at the end of the game, scoring doesn’t work and the game seems to always declare the other person the winner. My game today against Tema2009 is a case in point. I couldn’t score it, then the app crashed when I tried to report the game, then it said that white had resigned (I was black) and then it said that I had resigned. Very annoying. I like being able to use the app but these technical difficulties are annoying.
loki hobo,
Dark mode broken
When in iOS dark screen mode, under players, none of the players names are visible. For years I have thought it was a bad app setting, but just now figured it out.

Otherwise love the app and the site, highly recommended.
TheGarnetAtGmail,
Very good online Go client
I have been playing Go on Pandanet for years. Yes there are some sand baggers, and yes sometimes the app crashes. But in general during games it does what it is supposed to, which is give you a good way to play a game of Go with people all over the world. I play a few games every day.
theagricolan,
Great UI, terrible connection strength!
I have been completely unable to use this app lately. After signing out and then attempting to sign in, it goes straight to the “guest” version of home screen without signing me in. I can’t join games or view my game history. Stuck in guest mode. This app used to be pretty decent, not sure what happened here.
jasephase,
One fix, please
I love the app, but could you please make it so that the first game at the top of the list of games is selected by default on load instead of a game in the middle of the list?

Thank you!
Loarabia,
Nice clean IGS app
It’s a nice clean app. It does have a little bit of a learning curve but so does IGS in general. About the only thing that I could really wish for is if it had support for dark mode.
blueblaze325,
Can’t download files from archive
Having issues downloading files from the archive.
Beanoburrito,
Terrible.
Even the newer versions are terrible. The community is toxic to the core. The updates seems to be intentional bugs.
DustinMarc,
Crashes and cannot rejoin game
Crashes during fames and cannot rejoin
