2.0.2

Maintenance update.
2.0.1
2022-01-03
Maintenance update:
• In the Build View an alert has been added to remind you that the option to build vertical needs to be selected before adding images to stitch. (Since images are rotated on load when the build vertical option is on, not at the time of stitching).
• The Options View from the Camera View has been enhanced by changing the background color of some items for better visibility.
Previous updates:
NEW. In the Gallery a new option to resume a panorama in the Build pane is provided: Tap on a panorama for an array of options. When Resume is selected you now have the option to continue the panorama in the Camera (as before) or the Build pane.
NEW. In the Build pane you can also now change the width of the actual overlap between the photos for stitching. It is specified as a percentage of image width (or height if building a vertical panorama).
When stitching images in the Camera pane the expected overlap width is about 33% since that is how the size of the camera guide is set. But now in the Build pane you can stitch images that may overlap more or less than 33%.
This is useful for stitching photos taken from other sources or that have different overlap.
The ability to resume in the Build pane is also useful if you want to re-do a panorama in the Gallery that was created using the app's camera view with guide.
Fixed: After app relaunch the overlay guide in the camera view was not displaying after resuming a merged panorama from the Gallery.
Fixed: The quality and exposure matching controls in Settings have been modified to display better in iOS 13.
New: In the build view the 'Rotate 90º' switch has been renamed to 'Build Vertical', and when this option is ON the input images will be rotated LEFT 90º and the stitched result will be rotated 90º RIGHT (new). (This is done because the image stitcher stitches images left to right assuming that the registration overlap region is on the right and left sides of the images.)

• Fixed an issue with the photos picker not being able to access photos in iCloud. The third party photos picker has been replaced with the native iOS photos picker. (The photos picker is used in the Build pane, where you can merge photos from your Photos library.)
• Fixed a bug that prevented the ability to re-merge a merge that was "undone" in the panorama Gallery. (Undoing a panorama is useful when you want to re-merge using different settings, or if you delayed merging at the time you took the photos. Use the option popup in the Gallery by tapping on a panorama.)
• Updated the Aviary image editor to latest version (Aviary is accessed either by tapping on a photo after you add it in the build pane, or by selecting "Edit" from the options popup in the Gallery.)
• Updated the options and settings panes. (Options and settings are accessed from the camera or gallery views, and allow you to set merge quality and other parameters.)
• Fixed misalignment of image and text in the buttons of the options popup in the panorama gallery. (Options are displayed when you tap on a panorama in the gallery.)
• The “merge quality” (min, low, med, high, max) is reported in the merge pane’s progress caption. (Merge quality is set in the options or settings panes.)
1.3.6

Maintenance update.
1.3.5
2015-01-25
Panorama now registers notification settings of type alert, badge and sound to ensure these notification types are available for reporting when a merge is complete when the app is processing in the background or the screen is locked.
1.3.4
2015-01-13
• In the "Build" view you can tap the last photo added to edit it in the Aviary photo editor, just as you can edit stitched panoramas in the Gallery. Image editing options include: Enhance (Hi-Def, Illuminate, Color Fix), filter effects, frames, stickers, crop, rotate, brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, draw, text, redeye, whiten, blemish and Meme.
• Both the Build and Camera views now support saving or building when there is only 1 photo (previously the app always required a minimum of 2 photos).
• Fixed adding location data to photos for iOS 8. If you choose to add location data, then the location of the panorama will appear in the Gallery, and you will also be able to access a map showing the location the panorama was taken. Tap on the location's name on a panorama in the Gallery to display the map.
• 64-bit support added.
1.3.2
2014-04-11
• Upgraded the Aviary photo editor to their just released version 4.
This photo editor is accessible from the Panorama gallery, and provides features such as Meme, filter effects, frames, stickers, orientation, cropping and text labels.
Simply access the gallery where your panoramas are saved and tap on one to bring up the options popover, and select "Edit".
• Added a new option in preferences named "Fine Feature Detection" which is used to improve the discovery of corresponding sections of the overlapping photos to stitch them together as seamlessly as possible.
This option is ON by default, and can possibly require longer processing time depending on the detail in the photos.
1.3.1
2014-04-01
1) The options pane in the camera view and the settings pane in the gallery pane have been merged into one pane.
This way you can set all preferences for Panorama in one place. You can access this pane from either the camera view or the gallery view.
2) Added an option to save location data in photos when they are obtained using the camera in Panorama. It is ON by default.
This data is used to display the location of each panorama in the gallery (ex. “Boston, MA”). It is also used in the gallery to show the location the panorama was generated on a map.
